Beauty Discovery: Grumpy Girl Soap Company

Hey chicklets!

What’s news? I just got home about 2 seconds ago, ummmm yea so cold out but at least my tummy is full, had some lovely sushi. God I ate sushi 4 times this week, umm fish overload but seriously can one never have too much sushi? My night consists of makeup off, PJ’s on, powerbook on, and starting to get through all my long over due backed up comments! I have my shadow Martin with me which means he’s going to be VERY busy trying to tempt me to play Call of Duty with him but I’m not giving in! I’m promising myself to do a major dent in comments tonight and talk to everyone who’s been awaiting a reply. Don’t hate me for the delayed reply ok? It just gets busy around these parts and hard to keep up on all the happenings around Musings. I also need to get my swatchies done for the Urban Decay Alice and Wonderland Palette, I can’t wait to tell you about it. I swear I’m about to burst if I don’t get the post up soon.

Before I hit the comment sack to see what you guys are blathering about (I do so love chattin’ it up with you all) I thought I’d do a quickie Beauty Discovery post. It’s been a while in between my Beauty Discovery category. I’ve had this particularly post you’re about to read on the back burner for about a month so tonight seemed a perfect night to give you the low down.

If you haven’t been privy to my Beauty Discovery posts before here’s a run down. Basically Beauty Discovery consists of a brand you may never heard of or perhaps an online shop or Etsy finding. Whatever the case may be most times it’s a delightful little surprise.

Today I’m discovering Grumpy Girl Candle and Bath Company!

Grumpy Girl Soap 1

Have a little jump to discovery this beauty brand.

Grumpy Girl is a small, cheeky little company that makes handmade soaps and tarts. The joy of the products are the clever little names of scents such as Evil Leprechaun, Hot Sexy UPS Dude, and Porn Star In Pink Panties. As you can see this isn’t your conventional soap company but hey I’ve always wanted a Sexy UPS Dude in my shower but knowing my luck I’d end up with Doug from King of Queens ha!

The tarts are ace if you happen to be a fan of tarts but today I’m concentrating on the sudsy part of Grumpy Girl.

Grumpy Girl Soap 1221

Each handmade soap is a funky cool design and beautifully scented for extra spoilage in the tub or shower. Priced at $5.25 these chunky soaps are large in size and scent. I have three scents at the moment which I adore.

  • Jolt

A real zinger for your morning shower routine and aiding you in being alert and ready for the day ahead with tart, juicy grapefruits, lemons, oranges, and a twist of mint!

Grumpy Girl Soap 3

  • Ay Carumba

Wasting away in Margaritaville with salty tart lime!

Grumpy Girl Soap 2

  • The Lollipop Guild

A sweet concoction of sugar, berries, fruits and candy!

Grumpy Girl Soap 4

If you happen to adore quirky little items, soaps, bath and body goodies, or tarts, the Muse says that Grumpy Girl Soap Company is a fine place to make some great Beauty Discoveries.

I am not affiliated with Grumpy Girl Soap Company nor do I get paid a commission for featuring them, in fact they do not even know they will be making an appearance on my blog.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

My favorite from GGCC is Deception and Lies 🙂 I found them a while ago (can’t remember how) but really loved them!

This stuff looks so pretty.I’m a sucker for packaging. Just had a look around their website. My birthday is coming up and I’m definitely gifting this to myself.

I have only tried the tarts from Grumpy Girl. I can’t remember how I found them. I will need to make another order soon, I’m almost out of tarts!! My favorite scents are Hot Sexy UPS Dude and Ay Carumba!

Eee! I want that pimento loaf-like soap! 😛

Muse, I’ve always wondered – do you use one bar of soap at a time or do you have some humongous soap dish where you have several bars ready for use?

I sometimes cut little slices of different soaps to use in the shower, but the small pieces are harder to handle than full bars. I get sick of soaps about 1/4 of the way through!

PS…Keep an eye out for Dennis Anderson’s Sea Salt Caramel soap. He said he’s bringing it back soon, and it’s to die for. So luscious, non-drying and creamy.

      hehe taryn!

oooo I rotate ALOT hehe! But I don’t keep bars in a soap dish. I buy this little tiny bins from Harmons…I think it’s 1.99 or 2.99 for 5. They have a snap lid and I store my soaps in these. Basically I remove one and use it, let it dry in my soap dish, after it’s dry I put it in the bin, snap on the lid, and use something else the next day 😀

      god caramel is my downfall!
