DKNY Delicious Candy Apples Juicy Berry Review

Oh darlings I am all about the DKNY Delicious Candy Apples at the moment. First glance a few weeks ago had me enthralled, I love me a crunchy apple, I like candy, and I simply adore the DKNY Be Delicious Fragrance line. Imagine combining all those great elements into one fragrance?

Oh yes Delicious Candy Apples. I’ve been busy testing these guys out and must say they are too cute.

Jump for my first thoughts on the new DKNY Delicious Candy Apples Juicy Berry.

As you know from my past babbles there are three new limited edition DKNY Delicious Candy Apples scents that have been released, Juicy Berry, Sweet Caramel, and Ripe Raspberry. Today I’ll tell you a bit about DKNY Delicious Candy Apples Juicy Berry fragrance. I choose it because I really dig purple and the big old purple box had me foaming at the mouth, so yeah, I picked that one to tell you the word about first.

Ok, just a brief note I don’t have Be Delicious Night…I wanted to see how Juicy Berry compared to Night but I can’t compare as I never purchased it or even smelled it. Darn. Sorry guys.

But anyway!

First off let’s talk packaging.

Totally cute packaging on each apple. They sport the traditional apple design but they now have a little popsicle stick on top so the bottle looks like a just dipped candy apple. Truly I adore the bottle, so sweet.

I’ll tell you about the other two scents at a later date but must say so far Juicy Berry is my fav of the three as it’s the sweetest.

Crunchy apple is the dominant note of the fragrance for sure. It’s crisp and ripe but also slightly matured with notes of apple blossom, rose, and blackberry. Sandalwood seems to take the scent to the next level and keeps it from being too sweet but it doesn’t kill any of the other notes in the fragrance either particularly that of blackberry. Blackberry is actually the note you’ll smell next to apple, particularly on dry down as it morphs into a berry scent with a bit of a darkness that creates a certain warmth for evening wearing. Sweet yes but also flirty, deep, warm, and fruity.

Each of the Candy Apples fragrances are an Eau de Parfum so they do have fantastic throw and a nice, long linger. A spray or two will last you all day well into the evening.

DKNY Delicious Juicy Berry Candy Apple is more of an evening perfume for me. It does carry fruity, sweet elements but it also has a warmer, darker edge which makes it ideal for an evening out.

Delicious, truly.

Muse Approved for purchase.

Likey, lots.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Not an apple fragrance fan. I find the scents usually fake-smelling. But blackberry is another story totally. I need to try this. I wonder if they bring them in to Singapore.

    • the Muse

mmm karen not sure if they will end up in ‘pore. the blackberry gives a nice edge to the apple 😀

Yes indeed. I’ve tried madcitysue a year or so ago so I didn’t realize she had lush scents as it’s been a while 😀 her stuff is actually very good but I’ll see about doing a review with more deets for you!

Bleh. Do not want. I smelled the three the other day, because I really like Nina, which is apple based. I’m passing on the Candy Apples. ADORABLE bottles though!

I finally went to Ulta and Sephora the other day to smell these, and I was surprized the red one was my favorite. I really thought I was going to like the caramel one best. I think I liked the red one alot because it smelled like cherry cola to me. I didn’t buy one, but I’ll probably go back and get it for a Valentine’s present for myself.

    • the Muse

hey tanya I’m wearing the caramel today but I’m not sure what I think yet, I’m not getting any warmth from the caramel just more apple-like! But love the red one too, very fruity 🙂

hehe those are the best v-day gifts of all, the ones you gift yourself hehe!
