About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. NOTHING IS FREE!! PASS!! Doesn’t interest me :/

I can’t spend $150 right now and definitely I would not be spending it at that site 😀 my eyes are on my Urban decay, Mac, and of course ALL my ASIAN goodies that I WILLLLLLLL get. 😀

  • Ally

    Hi Muse 😀

Placed an order this morning as soon as I saw this offer.. yikes!
Just yesterday I got a major damage at Nordstrom with their new GWP.. and of course, I HAD to qualify for the ‘spend extra $25, get another bonus’ :/

Oh and, Lush was calling me with sweet smell of buy one holiday gift get one free.. who can just walk by? right? I would be crazy to pass up these good of a deals, right?? right???

Oops, sorry, kinda got carried away a little 😀 I feel tremendous guilt over my hauls for I was really watching my purchases since new year but oh wells, at least I got a buncha free stuff 🙂 plus, I NEEDED these pretties! (justifying purchases and denial–here we go 2010, cheers!! XD)

    • the Muse

HA Ally! go on my son! hehe! I want some spring stuffin’s so this falls right in for me! TELL me about Lush was major hauling time. Right, right, definitely, agreed 100% *nods solemnly* You needed them Ally, you DESERVE them…how am I doing? I’m helping justify the hauling!

      Hehe!

  • dina

must resist . . 🙁 too bad they made the minimum $150 this time instead of $100, bah

    • the Muse

oh dina you’re right! I forgot about the 100 dollar rate…sometimes it’s $75 too right? mmmm…I need to buy some stuff anyway so it’s nice to get a freebie 🙂

      • dina

i know, i am just trying to talk myself out of it 😉
i should know by now, resistance is futile . . .

        • the Muse

I’m trying to find ways out of to dina…my cart is at 80 help what else do I need!?

  • Kaoru

Too bad about the $150 minimum purchase. $100 I might do, since they have lip balm and eyeshadow palettes I want, but trying to find another $50?

I guess I’m better off just forgetting about this one, hehe. Besides, most of those items are tiny, like the Urban Decay lipstick. I got one of those in another GWP a long time ago, and the thing was just way too small.

    • the Muse

I’m trying to kaoru and having a little difficult time of it. b/c some of the spring stuff isn’t available yet grrr so I’m at $80 bucks that’s near half more to go….damn!

  • Donna

I got beauty.com’s last two GWPs and I have to say, they are so much fun! I always just get thing I know I need. The suck part about beauty.com is they don’t have all the brands I love, like Benefit. And the stuff they do have is just the basics of brands I like.

    • the Muse

hey donna I’ve gotten some of them too and think they are quite generous gwps 🙂 awww but they do have some cooler obscure brands that sephora doesn’t have which gets me happy!

  • dangster

I LOVE Beauty.com’s GWPs. They’re almost as good as the Barneys GWP. I usually hold off on buying beauty stuff until they come out with a new GWP. I just placed an order for this kit, got myself a Silk’n SensEpil cartridge (the SensEpil *does* work), the Fresh Brown Sugar set (it’s got the body cream, scrub, and soap), and the DuWop Peacock palette.
