Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector Review
Neutrogena takes a note from Bobbi Brown with a brand new Skin Brightening concealer…hmmmm for shame do I see a Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener in the works here?
Jump!
Well.
Word of advice.
Never ever market a product as being multitasking when it can’t cut it.
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector is supposed to brighten and conceal, not so much.
Here’s the scoop.
If you’re crazy young minus dry eyes, dark circles, puff, and general eye problem woes, I’d say you could possibly get away with loving Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector. It’s creamy, it blends well enough due to it’s heavily moisturizing formula, and yo, it has an SPF 25, love that sun protection.
If you’re old, like the Muse, you’ll take note this is not for you. Personally I found the product barely pigmented so brightening and concealing of any kind is not happening here. The formula is fantastic, particularly for dry eyes, as it’s rich and creamy and blends nicely for a drugstore brand concealer. Dubbing it as a brightener and a concealer does it a disservice because it’s NOT going to conceal anything or at least it didn’t in my case. The product simply lacks the pigmentation to perform as a hard core tool of concealing joy for this Muse. Brightening? Barely. I didn’t see much of anything going on in the ways of brightening.
Overall, it’s lack of pigmentation is what kills the product. As I mentioned above, if you’re younger and not sporting luggage and dark circles this may very well work out but over 30’s and dark circle chicas, don’t bother. Great design with the click pen, SPF 25 (yay!), quite a generous portion of concealer, price is iffy ($13.99) for me since it turned into a no bueno product…just not feeling the love.
Sorry Neutrogena, can’t thumbs up this guy!
Anyone try it?
