Steal It: Stila Good to Glow Set Review

Hey chicklets!

Now steal this, the Stila Good to Glow Illuminating Finishing Powder Set, $10, two powders, it’s a total steal!

Check it!

My first try with the Stila Illuminating Powders years ago was a love/hate thing. I have two of these and in the long run I’ve actually grown to really love them and I even hit pan on one, go me!

When I seen the Stila Good to Glow Set I thought this was a perfect excuse to haul a few more, heck it’s two full size powders for $10 bucks, hello deal.

I tossed these in my cart to tip it over to the realms of free shipping, glad I did as it’s a nice little deal.

Overall, the set is really nice and the powders are quite reminiscent of MAC MSF in some aspects. If you want a few more babblings on them please see my original review.

If you want a kiss of subtle highlight, something to tip your cart into the free shipping zone, or even a nice little gift for a friend, I’d say go pick ’em up!

Awesome deal.

Available now at Sephora.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I got these tooo!!! I currently use them as a blush. Not sure how else I can use them.

    • the Muse

hey davina w00t! good score right? You can use to highlight as well. little cheek stain and this on top gives a nice glow :-D!

  • Terri

Yep, I got these too! I love the bronze one as an eyeshadow – it’s way too dark for me to pull off as a bronzer. But on the eyes, it’s just gorgeous and has awesome staying power. The rose gold is really nice on the cheeks (I use it over Posietint).

    • the Muse

ooo over posietint sounds delightful! and awesome idea on multitasking as a shadow Terri, loves it!

  • Tinkerchelle

Ha ha! I totally used the rose gold over posey tint today. Is beauteousness! In fact, I even caught a glimpse of myself in midday flourescent lighting and didn’t cringe a bit! 😉

Speaking of $10 deal, today as I gave in and bought the Alice in Wonderland Book o’ Shadows, I noticed a little $10 Benefit To Go Beauty Bestsellers set… It has mini-sized PosieTint, Some Kind-A-Gorgeous, That Gal, and High Beam. Some of the reviews complained they were too small, but for $10 that’s what I expect! I bought it because I’ve been wanting to try all of those things but I never wanted to invest in the full sizes… I can’t wait to get this box! 🙂

0000000000000w000ttt awesome jonnie. Alice rocks it! I seen that set from Benefit, too cutes! ENJOY when it arrives and stop back say the word on Alice, curious whatcha think!

  • Marina

I really don’t need these but since they are only $10 I will try to get them. Why do I always buy thing that I don’t really need only because they are cheap ))

    • the Muse

marina same here. I so DO NOT need these but it’s cheap and full size and and and stila…:-D

  • Lulee

What brush do you use with these? In your original post you said you were looking for the right brush and since you hit pan on one I’m assuming you found it? Thanks!

    • the Muse

hey lulee the mini mac kabuki is my best tool for it and also I like using a fan brush 😀

  • sTEPHANIE

I got the little Benfit $10 set from Sephora also. I just saw their shows on HSN. I’m itching to try their stuff. I’m a make-up newbie!

    • the Muse

hey stephanie welcome to the world of makeup 😀 you’re gonna love Stila they make some fab stuff and it’s a great place to get your feet wet!

  • Jovanna

I LOVE these!!! I have them in all 3 colors. I am currently using the bronze since it’s summer and I am Native, so I tan easily. The rose gold I use everyday, and the gold I use in the winter when I get white again. I use the kubaki brush and they have enough glow to perk up my make up and it’s not glittery (which is bad for me being 32 and try to look professional at work). These last FOREVER!
