Urban Decay Primer Potion Eden Review and Swatches
Guys, guys, guys. Stop everything. Read this.
Last night I tried out the brand new Urban Decay Primer Potion Eden. Ok, so story time.
When I first seen Eden pop up on Sephora I was like, “oh cool a gold primer potion”. For some odd reason I was under the impression it would be a Midnight Cowboy kinda version of UDPP a la Sin. You know? Colored primer.
But wait….
It’s not!
It’s SO much better.

If you love Benefit Lemon Aid you need Urban Decay Primer Potion Eden in your life. If you have oily lids, veins, redness, dullness, or just need a bit of concealing on your lid you need Urban Decay Primer Potion. It conceals, it mattifies, it preps, it primes, it does not walk your dog or wash your laundry, sorry those things are sold separately.
So my regime normally starts out with Benefit Lemon Aid on my lid and followed up with Urban Decay Primer. Now that I have Eden I’ve just completely taken Lemon Aid out of the mix of things as Eden performs the concealing end and the priming part of my routine.
Urban Decay claims it gives you a no makeup look and indeed that’s exactly how it performs. You can use to prime of course but for days you are going shadow-less or gasp, you aren’t a shadow type of girl you can still take full advantage of Eden to make your eyes fresher and more awake. The only thing I can’t understand is why UD didn’t market it as a 360 product as damn it’s pigmented as hell that you can easily dab a little under your eye to conceal as well, granted it won’t cover all your dark circle woe but the effect isn’t bad at all.
The formula as I mentioned above is extremely pigmented. It’s a golden off lemon shade which should be flattering on most skin types. I’m leaning towards saying darker skin girls might not be able to take advantage but anyone else, medium, fair, etc…you should be able to enjoy the effects as the yellowish hue is ideal for brandishing dullness, darkness, etc…the formula dries down to a matte finish and unlike the original formula it’s incredibly creamy and thick. A little goes a little way so don’t get carried away during application.
I went a little crazed with the pics. Sorry was trying to get the right light.
Overall, it’s a big winner and should be added to your beauty arsenal as soon as you can get your greedy little hands on it. I think it’s particularly good for oily lid users and may turn out to be a life saver. As with the original formula it keeps shadows vibrant, fresh, and crease proof all day. Seriously there is nothing I don’t love about this and it’s a stand out product for Spring for me. It should take little to no time for this to become a cult classic and possibly some people may even forget the original formula and just lean towards purchasing this.
Absolutely loves it and Muse Approval for purchase.
You need Urban Decay Primer Potion Eden in your life, get it.
