Today the Muse is simply gagging over the joys of NARS Orgasm Illuminator. It’s already in my cart awaiting my credit card to click and ka-ching it’s way out of check out over at Sephora.
Question is….
Would you buy it?
I admit I’m ever so slightly obsessed with the NARS Orgasm shade. Some people think it’s a little too hyped up but I honestly love it’s peachy, pink finish and was delighted about the new NARS Orgasm Illuminator.
I don’t like cream highlighters or illuminators of any kind but I think I might be able to get on board with this. We shall see what I think when I get my sweaty little hands on it.
For now I’ll leave you with some of the promo photos from the NARS Spring 2010 Collection. Christina Aguilera also sported Orgasm Illuminator last night at the Golden Globes but it’s very subtle isn’t it? I expected a bit more pop! I do like the way it looks on the NARS model however but I’m more an apple of the cheeks kinda girl myself and this appears to be applied a bit more dramatically for my tastes. However, it does look considerably brighter and more lovely on the model than it did Christina.
I’m interested to see if I’ll like it. It’s available now from Sephora for $29 and you can multitask on body as well as face!

I love it on Christina…I don’t think I’d buy it, but it looks nice. I’m good with my normal highlighting products, but I don’t highlight often enough to justify buying this.

I love Nars Orgasm blush but I’ll pass on this one for now. I have Clinique’s Up Lighting Illuminator in Natural 01 and I’m loving that for when I want a bit of shimmer or glow.

I love my Benefit High Beam. I used it with my MAC Cantaloupe blush and it was to die for. In the summer I mix it with my foundation

This is pretty off-topic, but I just have never liked or been able to buy (support) Nars after finding out that they test on animals. Their products look gorgeous, but I just can’t justify giving money to a company like that when there are plenty of other who DON’T test on animals
hi lola I fear I don’t pay attention to these things on occasion when purchasing makeup/ I didn’t realize nars tested on animals.
Sorry to butt in but i felt the need to step up and defend my favorite brand
NARS does NOT test on animals, being a big animal lover i wouldn’t support them if they did (i’d still be in love tho

Nah, I don’t think I’d buy it. I do have Orgasm blush, but its not my fave color to use, on myself. On others I think it looks great.

BTW if you prefer mineral/powder illuminator, Laura mercier does one called candlelight that i really like.
