Would You Buy It? Stila Jewel Eye Shadow Palette

Those crazy kids at Stila are giving me lemming fever as they are busy tweeting about the new Stila Jewel Eye Shadow Palette.

Question is, would you buy it?

Seriously now, do you even have to ask if I’d buy this? Hells yeah! I wants me a Stila Jewl Eye Shadow Palette! Damn it looks all kinds of kicking hot. I know, I know my obsession with glitter and shimmer and sparkle does sometimes leans towards being slightly unhealthy.

But hello? Stila so GOT this palette right.

The Stila Jewel Eye Shadow ($32) is made up of four shades of shadow that provide buildable color with an easy blend formula that’s pigmented, weightless, and adds plenty of sparkle, glamour, glitz, and glam to your eyes!

Shades include:

  • Rose Quartz (light pink with silver sparkle)
  • Amethyst (grey eggplant with champagne sparkle)
  • Black Diamond (black with silver sparkle)
  • Golden Topaz (champagne shimmer with silver and gold sparkle)

God, I’m so in lust with this palette I want to take it home and rock it to sleep with me at night.

Likey.

So yes I’d buy it.

How about you?

Loving the Stila Spring Collection 2010?

I’d love to buy it! Why, oh why is it so hard to get hold of Stila in Sweden? =(

  • Marina

Naw. It doesn’t call to me like some other products are (Kat’s Memento Mori is singing “Marinaaaaa, Marinaaaaa”). The colors look nice…but not what I’m looking for…I feel like I’ve seen it before.

    • the Muse

*perks* I think I hear that palette calling my name too! but the Stila one is calling me too, actually wait, screaming at me haha!

Noooooooo don’t say that! It looks different I wants it! Don’t kill my buzz hahaha!

  • Ally

It looks beautiful, but I’m not sure I’m going to buy it. Might wait for it to show up on evil-bay or to go on sale. Am trying to start sticking to a budget this year as the reality of finishing school & entering the workforce is hitting me 😛

  • dina

definitely drooling over this one & hoping for good color payoff to go along with that glitteration 🙂 cna’t wait to ck it out!

  • donna

not in. that palette looks like fallout galore and for some reason just seems rather boring. i dunno…stila just isn’t doing it for me these days.

    • the Muse

donna must beg to disagree 😉 Stila has been rockin’ my world lately 🙂 I must has this! 🙂 but yes prob fall out meh!

  • suz

I sure would buy it…but I don’t like toooooo much pigmentation…I lean towards more of a natural look rather than all out there bold look. A lil glitter fine. I may grab this but most likely I will never use it…my little sister would…I JUST like buying shadows for no reason since I wear none…

  • Tinkerchelle

I thought these would be a gritty, chuncky mess. However, along the way in my daily ‘coffee + blogs = win’ ritual, I spied swatches of these on Temptalia. They looked amazing, and according to her the texture is great and the fallout is minimal. *does little caffeine induced dance*

  • Christine

hehe. when I read the instructions on how to put the makeup on, it only uses 3 of the 4 eyeshadow. I was wondering why they didn’t do just a 3 palette than a 4

    • the Muse

haha christine I never try to figure out the mentality of palettes, it boggles my mind! I just use ’em to create various looks and go from there 😀

  • eyeshadow addict

I too am obsessed with this palette. I think I am going to have to cave and buy it because I have been eyeing for the past few days. It just seems so small for the money and I’m not too familiar with Stila (I’ve only owned one Stila smudgepot that I received as a bonus gift a@ Sephora) But I loved that. I wish I could see some swatches, that would really help me to make a decision. Does anyone know if one exists. My peave is buying makeup that looks gorgeous in it’s palette, but not so great on my eyelids.

My obsession is Urban Decay and Too Faced, but when I saw this set…I don’t know it just does something. I know, this is probably unhealthy 🙂

Also does anyone know if Stila offers free shippin on orders over $50.

    Thanks!

    • the Muse

hey eyeshadow addict love the name! I hear ya! It’s a pretty one ;-D I got it and will review/swatch shortly. Love! The shadows are small but pigmented enough that you’ll get plenty of wear from the palette as a little goes a long way! UD and TF are awesome ;-D I just reviewed the new UD Alice palette and stardust shadows and they are fab! 😀 They have free shipping today actually and 20% off if you say you’re a “stla girl” on their facebook page 😀

      Hope it helps!

  • Del

looks nice & sparkly, which is prolly what caught yer eye….hehhe….I would get it if it was cheaper – I’d rather spend my money on a UD palette- more colors & more bang for my buck! I’ll keep an eye out for your review/swatches though – maybe you can sway me…or maybe not…hee hee

    • the Muse

heck yes del the sparkles do it for me 😀 I think I might be able to convince you that you need this one 🙂

If it weren’t for my occasional trips to my local Sephora I wouldn’t know anything. Anyway, I was looking for an eye pencil to go in my bottom water line. It widens the eyes, right? We tried several and I fell in LOVE LOVE with the Stila topaz liner. It’s more of a flesh color and didn’t stand out like the white liners. So – what’s the deal with Stila? Is all of their stuff high quality like that? I love your blog, btw. I’m learning so much and I’m 37! LOL

    • the Muse

      Hey Stephanie!

Fantastic! Glad you found that liner 😀 Stila makes a fine liner especially the smudge pots, LOVE! Stila has some great stuff and def quality for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀 Try the shadows, they are so creamy and pigmented and just blend like a dream!!!!!! 😀

Aw that’s so awesome, nothing like being introduced into the world of great makeup for the 1st time!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much for all your great comments and if you need anything just ask away 😀 I’ll try to help best I can!
