Beauty Babble 1 Beauty Babble: Money for Nothing!

Hey Chicklets!

Here’s a little beauty babbling for your long work day ahead. How’s it work?

Beauty Babble section is basically be a scenario of “possibilities” with questions and answers about what you’d do in situations where cosmetics would be needed!

For example.

Your house on fyressssss! Oh my god! What beauty item would you grab while running out the door! (might as well add this one into our Beauty Babble this week)

Fun right?

Jump ahead to see this week’s Beauty Babble!

babble 1 Beauty Babble: Money for Nothing!

You’re window shopping at Neiman Marcus. Strolling around but not buying because your credit card is maxed out and you have exactly $5 bucks in your wallet. Obviously, you can’t buy anything with this chump change. As you pass through the shoe department you notice some green back on the floor. Thinking it’s your lucky day to find a dollar bill on the floor you lean over and scoop it up!

Whoa.

Wait.

It’s $100 bucks!

Shucking morality aside and avoiding the high road of standing on the nearest shoe box and shouting, “Did anyone lose a $100 dollar bill?” you quickly stash it in your pocket and make a mad dash for the cosmetic department.

Bobbi Brown Cabana Coral Palette Beauty Babble: Money for Nothing!

What do you buy?

The Muse is scooping up that Bobbi Brown Cabana Corals Lip & Eye Palette for $60 bucks. With the change I’ll snatch up one or two more of the Bobbi Brown Cabana Corals Lip Glosses than I’ll haul butt out of their before someone realizes they lost $100 bucks among the Manolos.

Your next door neighbor is a sweet old lady and you do everything you can to help her out. Go to the grocery to pick up cat food and milk for her on a snowy day, help her cross the street on a busy traffic day, and wish her a happy good morning each and every day. During the weekend she knocks on your door and hands you a card thanking you for being so lovely to her year round. Thinking how sweet it is she thought to give you a card you tear it open and out flies $150 in cash!

What makeup do you buy with your unexpected gift of cash?

The Muse would hit up Sephora and snag that new Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Palette Memento Mori and proceed to hop over to MAC and use whatever cash I have left on the new MAC Spring Colour Forecast Collection.

Scenerio One: I’d buy a spare Diorshow mascara, Urban Decay’s Alice In Wonderland BOS, and a new Bobbi Brown shimmer brick :)

Ooooh, “beauty babble” is such a great add on to your posts! I like this.

But on to my answers: scenario 1: I’ll nab me a Kat Von D memento mori palette as well….I think this palette is really gorgeous! and the name….it sounds enchanting and mysterious at the same time. I’ve never actually heard of this phrase before and so I googled it up and now I know ;-) …I’ll also get the rest of engraved Rouge G lippie from Guerlain that I wasn’t able to nab..Been wanting the “Gorgeous” Gisele #08…le sigh

Scenario 2: Yay, more budget! Hmmm….let’s see…I guess I’ll buy NARS Purple Rain nail polish…and the rest I’ll haul from Illamasqua…I’ve never tried any of their products yet but I’ve been hearing so many raves everywhere.

Yay, Happy Thursday, Muse! One day closer to Friday :P

Scenario #1: Well, I’d totally spend on UDPP in Eden, a new Too Faced Brightening Blush (the pink one, I have the peach one and I love it!), a Nars blush and I’d spend the change on a Mudslide from Applebees (they are soooo good!!!)

Scenario #2: I’d get that lash growing stuff! I can’t remember the name!!

#1: I’d grab the Bobbi’s Nectar Shimmer Brick ($38), and three matte neutral eyeshadows ($20 each) from Bobbi as well. What can I say, I’d be a BB junkie, if I had all this virtual cash. ;D

#2: I’d head on over to MAC’s to grab that purple palette ($36) from the spring forecast collection! I’d pick a couple eye and face brushes too, since I have very few. And then I’d have to hop over to Shu Uemura to snag a couple of their glow-on blushes (in Peach and Amber). I’ve seen too many lovely starlets and models wearing them and looking gor-juss to pass those up!

If it’s not too apparent already, I’ve been compiling my wishlist for a long while. u_u;

I’ll get the Nectar shimmer brick and run out with the rest of the $ to save to buy stuff online at Adambeauty, is that cheating? If it is I’ll probably get some of the pot rouges and lipsticks from Cabana corals as well. Really liking this new BB range.

As for the $150 – the new MAC blushes from the spring forecast, the whole lot (except the purple one that bruises)! And then maybe some of that Clarins Everlasting fdtn that you recommended.

Scenario 1:
Grab Urban Decay’s so called Limited Edition Lipstick Cap (seriously its been limited edition for just about FOREVER!) and Eden and Sin primer potions.

Scenario 2: Get myself a load of bath stuff I dont need. Bubblegum Sugar Scrub from Lush, Philosohy Bubble Gum Blow Out and of course some stuff from Soap and Glory. Id also get myself the OPI Alice in Wonderland collection plus some shoes I saw that matched the shade ‘as Mad as a Hatter’ perfectly! If only this would really happen, sigh…
