Bihada Ichizoku Kataomoi Concealer Review

As per the request of many a fine reader I’ve hauled out some of my Bihada Ichizoku stash for you and will be doing a few reviews.

Bihada Ichizoku as I mentioned in a prior post is a skincare, beauty line inspired from a popular manga. The line sports cute characters from the series and is actually quite a popular line of product in Japan.

Today I’ll be reviewing the Bihada Ichizoku Kataomoi Concealer for you.

Jump!

Aside from the cute packaging it’s quite a bust sadly and has been laying in my makeup graveyard for a while now. It’s a very tiny stick concealer and basically it’s the packaging that overall sells the item as the quality of the concealer itself is a no go.

Honestly, I don’t like stick concealers anyway as I normally find they aren’t near hydrating enough for my tired, old eyes and this just goes to prove why I avoid this style of concealer. The gimmick is of course the marketing of the product because the formula simply stinks. It’s available in one shade which is a muddy brown beige that does nothing to conceal dark circles, fine lines, etc….perhaps you can get away with concealing a spot or two on your face with it if you’re lucky but don’t go to town on your eyes because it’s not going to make you look fresh and awake but more like tired and exhausted. The formula is just as crummy as the stick style packaging as it’s drying slightly crumbly and old feeling. It doesn’t blend well so it sits on top of your eye just hanging out and waving to the crowd.

Yea well…you get the idea how much I’m not in love.

In some cases I can over look a bad formula for kawaii packaging but sadly not the case with Bihada Ichizoku Kataomoi Concealer.

No likey.

Don’t waste your money!

You can pick up much of the Bihada Ichizoku Collection on Amazon.

Disclosure: The following item was purchased by me for review purposes (and because I like flinging my money at makeup products of any kind) on Musings of a Muse. For further information please see my FTC Guidelines or my Disclosure/Disclaimer posts.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
