Good morning world!
I hope it’s bright and sunny on your side of the universe. If you live on my side of the universe it’s sunny with a mix of slushy snow on the ground, a brisk chilly wind, and lots of rumblings about heading to work in this muck.
I thought I’d do a brief Etsy Musings to start the morning off right. As you know I’m a fond fan Beautiful Twists which I’ve done a prior Etsy Musings on. The creator of Beautiful Twists has since branched out and opened several new Etsy stores which feature various goodies for your body.
I’m pretty much an Etsy junkie so I love introducing you to great finds on the site.
The Fern Lily Girls is more of a mature part of Beautiful Twists, it’s a tad more earthy but still manages to keep the whimsical feel and nature of Ella Dean’s creations. The shop features everything from body scrubs to perfume oils and of course Ella’s popular lip conditioners which I so dearly love.
I got a few bits and bobs from the shop back in December but never got the chance to review them so I’ll give you a brief glimpse at what I got.
Zaria’s Sunrise and Sunset Lunch Date Silky Perfume Oil
Fresh floral, citrus blend that smells like sunshine! Comes in an easy dab bottle for mess-free application! Has great throw and linger.
Mint Pomegranate Candy Sticks Vegan Whipped Cream Soap
A super soft whipped cream soap for use in the shower to cleanse or shave with! Has a dominate sweet peppermint note with a slightly twist of tart pom to round it off!
Egypt and Banana Blossom Silky Perfume Oil
Pure yummie bananas with a twist of something more!
Gingerbread & Cranberries From The Marshes Lip Conditioners
Yum! I’m a fond fan of Ella’s Lip Conditioners since they apply so glossy and slick! This has a slight tint and is quite tasty. Kinda like eating gingerbread with chewy bits of cranberry inside.
Overall, The Fern Lily Girls doesn’t lose Ella’s free spirited, hippie mentality as she injects it completely it all her vegan products. I like the path she’s taken with the perfume oils as they now have wands for easy application. I also like the exciting new blends of Lip Conditioner she’s created for this particular shop and the fact that some are now tinted.
If you’re a fan of Beautiful Twists already you might want to give The Fern Lily Girls a go as well. If you’ve never tried either, you’re sorely missing out!
Good times to be had on Etsy.
