Givenchy Summer Collection 2010

Hi honies!

Sorry ’bout the delayed post count today. I have a slew written up but haven’t yet posted because they need some serious editing. Sometimes my hands type alot faster than my brain which means a slew of fun errors. I need to re-read before I slap these up there for the world to read.

I hope you’re all doing well today! We got over the hump! Thank the gods above it’s almost Friday, Friday, Friday!

I know we discussed the Givenchy Summer Collection 2010 but I came across more images so I thought I’d share with my fellow beauty junkies!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Wants the blush! Since I can’t have the MAC coral one I going to start lemming this one instead. Also, what color gloss is the pic? It’s gorgeous!

    • the Muse

hey krisitina not sure the color gloss…don’t know alot about the collection yet grrr but promise to post more deets soon 😀 which coral blush? ripe peach!?

  • Hannah

Oh my gosh!! The Givenchy Fleur de Frangipanier MUST be mine!! Both Island Sun and Island Tan!! SO pretty! Do you know the date of when they launch? ( :

  • Anitacska

Ooh, I didn’t realise the powder came in two shades! I will definitely get the pinker one (and see about the other), plus the blue eyeshadows and that turquoise mascara! Oh and may buy the nail varnish, I don’t own any green ones.

  • Carielle

At this point, it’s art. The big guns in the cosmetic industry know that they can ask the price they do when their products becomes artifact. I’d buy them all but my restricted budget imposes wisdom. I stick with Clarins !

    • the Muse

hi carielle I really like clarins too! mm sadly it costs $$ when it comes to posher brands 😛

  • Caroline

I am confused. Are those eye palettes? If so, what is the point of 4 blocks of the same color?

    That blush look sooo pretty!

    • the Muse

I guess it’s part of the design caroline but yes a little pointless 🙂 I don’t know much info sadly but as soon as I do will update ya!

Wow – I haven’t seen this collection posted yet. Thanks!! Have you noticed a few lines doing the swirly marble stuff again? DuWop has shadows out and Sue Devitt has had it in her last 2 collections and of course more traditional “baked” lines like Laura Geller. I love it and see this as a way to get back into Givenchy. Hopefully its not overspray.

      • Melissa

Sadly – Guerlain has ruined my desire for pretty overspray. The spring shadows looked so neat, but were so meh after the overspray was gone. Lets hope Givenchy hasn’t gone that route. I just looked at an old G pallett that really needs to be trashed. the pattern is pressed not sprayed. Hopefully this collection is that way too.

        • the Muse

god yes melissa guerlain is very much an oversprayer! I hope so too le sigh!

I am SO all over those face products, particularly vogue orange.
