Latest Obsession: H20+ Oasis Mist

Ok, I’ll be the first one to admit I have way too many facial mists in my beauty arsenal. Anyone? Raise your hand slowly, no reason to rush into your confession.

Do you hoard away facial mists? Denial is futile.

Jump for my latest facial mist find.

H20+ Oasis Mist is the latest and greatest to hit my obsession list. It’s cheap as day old chips at $16.50 for a big old bottle (6oz but feels like way more!).

According to H20+ it has a heap of good stuff in the mix. Sea mineral complex that delievers hydrating extracts of wakame, sea lettuce, sea fennel and anti aging extracts of himanthalia, spirulina and nori to help restore skin’s natural balance plus it’s enriched with vitamins A, C, E and Provitamin B.

I dunno about all that stuff but I will say it’s a damn fine hydrating mist. It comes in an aerosol spray which I love as it makes it easy not only to mist down my face but my body as well. The spray is light and non-greasy but still manages to feel very moisturizing on my face.

It’s perfect as a pre-moisturizer, pre-makeup prep and also works great at refreshing or setting makeup already in place.

At the price of $16.50 it’s pretty much cheaper than higher end mists and works perfectly as both a prep and a refresher.

Loves it!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I actually don’t really get why mists are so great. I have one by Juice Beauty and the Caudalie Elixir but I just don’t understand what’s so spectacular. I haven’t noticed that they do a whole lot.

hey kristina…do you have dry skin? I find they are fab for my dry skin to prep for moisturizer, makes my moisturizer sink in way faster 🙂

hi caroline dry skin can benefit from ’em sure. They are great for prepping skin for moisturizer. it allows your moisturizer to sink in faster. It’s also great as a setting mist, mist your face after your makeup is in place and it sets it (I don’t like doing this myself) particularly great if you use minerals. Also it’s good for a little pick me up through the day to nourish face.

      🙂

I never understood the whole thing about spraying your face after putting on makeup. I think of how my face looks after I get rained on or mascara after I cry and I think WTF, why would I do that? But that’s just me…

    • the Muse

jonnie you aren’t alone I rarely use a mist to set but some folks do particularly mineral users!

I love facial mists! I must try this esp. since it is soo cheap!! But the Dior one is my must have of all time.

They are great for the summer and mini road trips in the hot air. Or for the winter and dry air I guess too!!

On a trip to the Middle East to visit my family I took 2 bottles with me. I took them on the plane with me and they were fine, then in my aunts car on the way home my cousin sat on my purse bursting my two mist bottles. I nearly sobbed!!!

Never used mist before until I discover lavender and rose mist from durance, then I tried the Mac fix lavender for setting my makeup.and I love it, I use powder foundation and it really helps my skin not to look too cakey and more natural, love it so much that I bought 4 bottles, great stuff!
