MAC Spring Colour Forecast 4 Review and Swatches
‘ello my dear girls!
What’s news? I’m a little late to this ball game but I wanted to give you a little brief review on the MAC Spring Colour Forecast 4.
Whatcha haul from it?
I wasn’t too impressed with this Forecast but a few bits did stand out for me.
Jump it!
I guess MAC Spring Colour Forecast 4 was my least fav of the collections however it did have one key selling point, the MAC Colour 4 Eyeshadow Quad! Loves this!
The quad features a nice array of warm shadows that will work beautifully all year round. The quad features shadows in Manila Paper (White Gold), Flip (Bronze-y Gold), Aztec Brick (Coppery Brown), and Creole Beauty (Frosty Golden Bronze). The shades just all work fabulously together to create a really warm, sunny eye look. Absolutely in love with this quad and think it’s the best of the two released.
Sad to say that MAC Blush Ombre Springshine is doing nothing for me. It’s a dull, matte shade of sunny beige. With a little cheek stain under it or a vibrant blush on top you can create a nice golden glow but on it’s own it’s rather dull and uneventful to me and the least prettiest of the four.
I also got MAC Lipstick in Bronzilla which I surprisingly liked. It’s a nice metallic bronze that looks rather pretty with gloss on top. And MAC Lipglass in Gold Dust which was another pretty shade of warm golden peach. As pretty as Gold Dust looks it applies a little crummy, so you do have to be careful during application wit as it has a tad bit of a drier formula than other lipglasses I own.
Overall, the star of the collection for me was the shadow quad. Everything else was a tad uneventful and nothing to get too crazy excited about. If you haul nothing else at the very least get the quad, it’s delicious!
Do share what you got from MAC Spring Colour Forecast 4!
