Philosophy Butterscotch Bliss Shower Gel Review

Whenever I think of butterscotch I automatically think of Wether’s Original. I dunno why but I totally associate anything butterscotch related with that company.

I actually don’t LIKE butterscotch candy or butterscotch topping (on ice cream) but ironically I adore the scent.

Take a look at my babble on Philosophy Butterscotch Bliss Shower Gel!

Spot on Philosophy, another successful shower gel! They got the scent perfectly down and if you’re a fond lover of the smell of butterscotch or just the candy, you’re sure to love Butterscotch Bliss.

Don’t let your first sniffle in store fool you as the blend does come off a tad cheese-like. Yes, I said cheese. If you’ve ever melted butter to bake with you probably get that slightly strange scent it oozes and this in fact smells like that, for me a bit cheesy. It’s a heavy dose of melted butter on first sniff. Once in the shower other notes of sugar and vanilla blend together with the butter to create that smooth scent associated with butterscotch.

Nom!

If you’re a lover of foody scents Philosophy Butterscotch Bliss should wildly appeal. They captured the essence of the candy perfectly and bottled it up into a shower gel.

Loves it!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ooh, I love when Philosophy comes out with new scents, especially dessert themed ones! I’ll need to check this one out on my next Sephora run.

This sounds awesome! Being able to get Philosophy shower gels in lovely scents shipped to me while I was deployed made the not awesome smelling shower trailer a bit better. 🙂

I always wonder though, are the recipies on the bottles real? Has anyone ever tried to cook something from them?
