Soap and Glory has taken it’s cult favorite lip gloss, Sexy Motherpucker (I so have to be careful when I say that and not goof up and type an “f” oops!), and packaged it up in a cute box. You’ll get three Sexy MotherPucker Lip Glosses in Plum, Peach, and Nude.
The glosses are sport a thick, sticky formula which wears quite long. Each gloss is scented and flavored with a bit of chocolate. I wasn’t too keen on the taste my first few tries but have kinda started digging it over time. This isn’t my first experience with the gloss as I’ve had the peach shade for the longest time but never got around to reviewing it. The gloss actually does work. In my opinion it doesn’t tingle or sting as badly as DuWop Lip Venom but has more of a warming effect. Sensitive types should be aware as you never know how you’ll react to plumping glosses.
It actually does work. A cross between the thicker formula and microspheres in the mix creates a fuller looking lip. For the most part all three shades are pretty much sheer and subtle however due to the slight warmth and swelling experienced with use you’ll also notice your lips will become a pinker or redder shade.
I’m not a big supporter of plumping glosses as I always feel it’s the thicker formula that gives the illusion of a fuller lip look. In this case that’s very true but it’s also the slight buzz from the formula that gets lips plumped up rather nicely.
The set is $19.99 and available at Target for purchase.
Overall, worthy of a haul just because I adore Soap & Glory so much plus who doesn’t love a good plumping gloss…land yourself three for the price of two! Nice!
