Beauty on a Budget: Freeman Pineapple Facial Enzyme Mask Review

I probably wouldn’t believe you if you said that you could find me an inexpensive mask treatment that worked.

Lies! Blasphemy! Can’t be!

But…I will say Freeman Pineapple Facial Enzyme Mask could prove the exception to the rule.

Jump!

If you got 10 minutes and $4 bucks the Muse will set you up with a rather nice little mask to moisturize your face and help your skin to chill out for a second and relax.

Freeman Pineapple Facial Enzyme Mask will set you back a mere $3.99 and provides a nice lasting moisturizing effect in 10 minutes.

The mask comes in a generous squeeze tube bottle and smells like a sweet, just cut into pineapple. It gently exfoliates as it moisturizes leaving your skin softer and moisturized.

The formula is a thick gel base with tiny scrubbing grains. Simply smooth a generous layer on your skin and sit around wasting time for a 10 minute period. Play some W0W, watch some telly, talk to your friend on the phone…just leave it on for 10 minutes or so prior to washing off.

After it’s been on for a few simply massage it gently off with luke warm water. Tiny grains in the formula will exfoliate your skin as you rinse it off.

Ahhhh breath a sign of relief that your skin is feeling oh so nourished and it didn’t cost you $20 bucks or more.

If you’re looking for a mask treatment you can use a few times a week that won’t strip skin or make it dry and tight, I’d suggest checking out Freeman Pineapple Facial Enzyme Mask. The mask is an inexpensive treat that moisturizes as well as exfoliates and only costs around $4 bucks at most, can’t beat the price or the results.

Likey lots!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This is one of the best “recession” products I have purchased. I am in love with this product and for the price and how yummy your skin feels I really don’t think I can go back to spending more for the same quality of product.

P.S. Muse-I love your site and you truely make may work day better 🙂 So thanks!!

    • the Muse

hey tiff, truly it is! That’s saying something b/c I’m such a nitpicker with drugstore skincare! 😀 It really works and for $3.99? hello freaking bargain!

Aw man Tiff thanks! that totally makes my day hun! *hugs*

  • Doll

Ohhh this sounds interesting and cheap! I will check out my local walmart for this. It’s the only place I can find this brand in Toronto.
    Thanks for the review

    • the Muse

my pleasure doll! Good lucking fun sweets! Tell us whatcha think if you do find!

  • Phyrra

Ok, I so want this! I love pinapples, I love the fact that it’s a gel formula! Sounds fab!

  • Sagu

I’m a huge fan of this product! This is the first enzyme exfoliator I’ve ever used and it makes a great difference. It isn’t THAT cheap (that’s almost free!) here in Finland but it’s still very cheap.

    • the Muse

hey sagu! How much is it in Finland? It really does make a nice difference in my skin 😀 Quite a good one and very non drying which is very important to me when it comes to cleansers/masks!

      • Sagu

It’s around 5 euros (about $6.8), if I remember correctly! And the fact that it’s not drying is very important for me, too 🙂 My skin is quite dry, especially in winter.

        • the Muse

cheers sagu! not bad at all 😀 a little higher than here, but not bad either for Europe 😀 I agree, my skin is sorta combo at the moment but I hate cleansers or masks that make my skin tight 😛 yak!

  • dina

ok, wants it 🙂 + hello pineapple 😛 much better than stinky medicinal stuff!

    • the Muse

dina it’s quite nice for it’s price tag 😀 rite aid has it, go haul! 😀

  • Fabiola

Thank you, dear Muse, for your review! Ooh, I hope this has a nice pineapple-y smell to it, as I simply love things with a fruity smell. I have Freeman’s cucumber mask, but I’d like to give this one a try too.

I must give you compliments on your site, Muse. I regularly check your site even if many of the brands you review aren’t available over here unfortunately. I simply love your writing style, humour, and the frequency with which you update your site. Keep up the good work!

    • the Muse

aw it’s my pleasure hun! It does indeed smell quite fruity and pineapplish 😀 Aww Fabiola that means the world to me, so glad you enjoy my babblings! 😀 It really feels great to get a comment as lovely as this 😀 *hugs*

  • JoElla

Oh Dina take the plunge girl! Not only does this smell fantastic, this mask does not dry out your skin, gives great results and is very easy to remove. It does not dry on the face and you can rinse off in the shower easily, or remove with a wet washcloth easily. And on the off chance you leave it on longer than you are supposed to, no problem, will not irritate your skin or cause damage. And you don’t get the dreaded “Pink face” from this mask. Once it is off, you are ready to go with the rests of your products!

I have very few items that I will willingly give the “holy grail” status, but baby makes the list!

    • the Muse

I agreed Joella it’s very gentle which makes it a golden find as most DS stuff dries me out fiercely!

  • dina

alright you girls sold me, although i think it’s become clear by now i’m not the hardest sell! look forward to trying it ~ thank you Joella & Muse as always 🙂

  • Stephanie

Have you ever tried the Queen Helene masks? I have the avocado and grapefruit one and it’s also really good (and only $4 like the one you reviewed above).

Thanks for the review above. I’m curious to try this one out now.

  • Daituf

No way!!! This is good??? Awesome!
I keep seeing these, but never dared to buy coz they were SO CHEAP!
    Now I gotta try!
Yay! Love cheap things that work!

    • the Muse

daituf hi how are you? 😀 It’s quite nice actually for it’s price and you see some good results too!

  • Hana

I’ve been using this mask for a couple years now and I really love it. It smells great, doesn’t dry out or break out my skin, and is good for nice, gentle exfoliation. <3 I like to use it when I take baths because it's such a nice experience. So yay for your review!

    • the Muse

yay hana 😀 quite a few lovers of this one! Def a nice treat that doesn’t cost much!

  • Angela

+1 for this mask. I was planning on posting a review some time but you beat me too it D:
I like that it leaves my skin soft and not feeling tight after . Do you find that there are like “fumes” that sort of sting your eyes if you apply it too close? I like to think I give my eye area a lot of space and still get that feeling!

    • the Muse

angela awesome 😀 great minds think alike! 😀 Hmmmmm no….I didn’t notice that! But I’m legendary for getting stuff close to my eyes and end up sobbing in agony over it haha! But no, thankfully nothing!

  • plue

i have this one too! inexpensive and quite a delight to use, becuz it smells so yummy!

great as a gentle exfoliator 😛

tee hee! for once msia have something that the US have without costing a bomb!

  • jylove

I have this one, the clay mask, AND the cucumber peel mask. All are great quality for the price!!! Love them all, I highly recommend them all. Especially when you have a $3.50 off coupon from Ulta~

  • TheGirl

Can’t wait to give this a try. Now I just have to find a spot to order it!

  • Vanessa

I work at ulta, and I was restocking the grab and go section by the registers and saw the charcoal and black sugar scrub and I decided to buy the little packet it to try it out and I was absolutely in love. So I think I might have to pick up this product too!
