Bourjois Paris Liner Feutre Eye Liner Review

The Muse takes a lickin’ but she keeps getting back on her feet and attempting that perfect cat eye, hasn’t happened yet mind you but it will one day!

Bourjois Paris has a new felt tip eye liner pencil that I’m hoping will prove to be “the one” for creating that perfect cat eye I yearn for…..but for now I’ll give you a little glimpse of it while I continue practicing my technique.

Jump!

Bourjois Paris Liner Feutre Eye Liner is a long lasting liner with a felt tip for ultra easy application or so the Muse hopes considering how track record with liquid liners!

The applicator is key to creating a perfectly precise line as it works much like a magic marker would. It goes on smooth and easily although a little skill and a steady hand is required during application.

I’m a practicing hard at the moment but haven’t quite perfected application but can’t deny the felt tip makes it ever so easy to get a nice strong line minus skipping or tugging.

If you’re a fan of felt tip liners I’d suggest snagging this as it’s one of the better ones I’ve tried plus hey it’s Bourjois, the Muse loves herself some Bourjois Paris.

Now….must get back to practicing!

Available now at Ulta for $17.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Oh, this one looks great 😀

Thanks for the review on this, I cannot wait to see it in action.

    How are you doing?! 🙂

    • the Muse

your most welcome nia. i stink at application but I’m a trying 😀 great, backed up and crazed but good and you hun!?

        • the Muse

it’s much better lately Nia 😀 my renewal season is over and I’m just starting to see the bottom of my desk lol! how ’bout you?

          • Nia

Still ramping up! I hope we reach the peak soon 😉

And there is no feeling like seeing the bottom of the drawers after a lot of work 😀

  • Petra

Oh, I hope You have better luck with it than me. 🙁
I loved the application, loved the colour, but sadly it smeared on me after a couple of hours. I have slightly hooded eyes and it ‘stamped’ my crease, no matter what primer and eyeshadow I used on my lid. And I don’t consider my lids extremely oily. It’s really a shame, because it’s waterproof, and sure is hard to wash off of my hands when I tested it there, but no such luck on my lids.
Maybe it’s a winner for someone with more lid space, or drier skin.

aw that stinks petra….I’m wearing it today and rain and all it’s still holding out for me, thankfully! 😀 Weird!

      • Petra

I’m happy it’s not dissapointing You! 🙂 It must be some issue with my skin then. Such a shame.

      Hey Petra,
I have a CoverGirl felt-tip liquid eyeliner…and it works wonders for me (I also have hooded eyes). I prefer the smudgy, smoky look for eyeliner, but the CoverGirl one I got ($7 or so) was the first that hasn’t ‘stamped’ my crease!!

  • Tango

Ah, love Bourjois, but I honestly love it more when I’m abroad and it’s cheaper. If you want a cheap-thrill felt-tip liquid eyeliner you should give the Covergirl liners a go.

    • the Muse

hey tango I find the price is around the same abroad and US side…not really much differences aside from perhaps a dollar or two. Thanks for the rec, will have to check it out 😀

      • Gail

On Asos.com its way cheaper, its 5.85 Brittish pound, so that’s about $6,50. I think I’m going to try it out, there should be a 50% off sale this weekend at the local drugstore 🙂 (I live in the Netherlands)

        • the Muse

eh? gail 5.85 sterling is near $9 USD hun plus the $6 shipping kinda works out the same price we can get it on Ulta 😀 oh lucky wish we had 50% off!
