Chanel Les Pop-Up de Chanel Collection Review and Swatches: Gloss Fluo De Chanel Brilliant Lip Shine Pop and Laser Review and Swatches

When I think of electrolytes I automatically think of brightly colored sports drinks a la Gatorade. I imagine if you took a big bottle of Gatorade with you when you go spelunking it could lead the way into those dark nooks and crannies.

When I go spelunking I tote along Chanel Brilliant Lip Shine in Pop and Laser, they glow in the dark you see.

Jump!

All you nail girls must be flipping freaking over the Chanel Les Pop-Up de Chanel Collection for Summer 2010, some quite vibrant shades in the collection eh? The new Chanel Brilliant Lip Shines from the collection are just as gorgeous.

Two shades were released, Laser (407) and Pop (427). Laser is a clear neon fuchsia where as Pop is coral. Both shades apply subtle-like so don’t be scared of the vibrancy you see in the package, it’s all sheer and subtle after application. Best part about ’em in my opinion is the gorgeous just bitten look they bestow on lips. Although for the most part they apply very sheer and nearly transparent they still leave behind a tiny bit of either coral or pink on lips, it’s what my mate Christine would call a “my lips but better type of shade”. Formula wears long but doesn’t sport a tacky or sticky formula just a hydrating, moist finish minus the annoying tack and stick most long wearing glosses sport.

Overall, if you’re more of a natural finish girl or you’re really wanting to rock a bolder eye look this Summer, Chanel Brilliant Lip Shines in Pop and Laser can totally aid your ways.

Or bring ’em on that next caving trip when you’re off playin’ Indiana Jones it’s always rather fashionable to whip out your Chanel gloss to lead the way, at least the Muse likes to think so.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This is my absolute favorite gloss finish. I like my shimmer and glitter. But I really love the jelly finish. So happy it’s making a comeback.

No sticky? yah!! I love some chanel lip glosses but they are all sticky feelling, maybe these are a diff formula?
They look like a popsicle melted and they put the melted popsicle juice in a bottle of lip gloss. fun!

  • nar

They look great in the tube, but totes boring swatched. Do they look good on the lips? Can we see swatches of that?

  • Sophia

Do they really glow in the dark? Because that’d be pretty funny!

They’re so pretty and summery, though, glow-in-the-dark-properties or not. They also look good enough to eat, mmm. Like fruit juice, or melted fruit roll-ups or jelly bears or popsicles or something … mmmmdrrooool I’m like Homer Simpson with a donut over here 😉
