DKNY Delicious Candy Apples Review: DKNY Ripe Raspberry Candy Apple Review

Hey, anyone haul the DKNY Delicious Candy Apples? Come on peeps! I wanna discuss these with you! At least go out and sniff ’em! Curious what you think.

I’m wearin’ DKNY Ripe Raspberry Candy Apple! Yum!

Jump!

This guy pairs up a crunchy crisp green apple with a blend of raspberry and floral…and get this their is even a note of coca-cola in the mix! How funky is that?

I’m actually disappointed because I didn’t get the coca-cola note at all! Darn! It starts off with green apple, very crisp, almost sour-like…you know how green apples have that slight tart sour taste combined with the fruity sweetness? That comes through with this! It follows up with a bright burst of overly sweet raspberries…as if someone stepped on a buncha of raspberries and the scent whiffs up to your nose. And finally it ends with a subtle floral. Dry down goes from being overly sweet to a soft mellow cotton candy-ish note, quite nice really particularly if you’re turned off by the initial sweetness. Like I said though I def didn’t experience the coca-cola aspect but I was kinda hoping for it…seriously coke, candy, and fruit? Hello sugar coma!

Overall, DKNY Delicious Candy Apples have been a pleasure to experiment with. If you’re a big fan of the originals you’ll definitely love the candy apple versions, without a doubt. If you never tried the originals, this is a rather perfect excuse to try the limited edition versions as they are quite special.

Loves!

Anyone try?

I tested it out in Sephora a few days ago and it was overly sweet and slightly medicinal smelling to me — kinda like cherry-flavored cough medicine. I do like the original one in the green bottle though, which smells much more like fresh granny smith apples to me.

johanna yeaaaaaaa def starts out really crazy sweet but it has this mellow cotton candy dry down that’s quite nice 😀 but I hear ya the green bottle def has plenty of crunchy apple to it :-D!

I have the Sweet Caramel Candy Apple. I love it. It’s not so “fruity” as the other two. And being a sucker for cute perfume packaging, how could I not buy it!

hmmmm i think i smelt this in vogue at my dermatoligist appiontment the other day, thought it smelt really good…. how much are they?

all I got from the red was the floral. I got the rasberries as a top note, but when it burned down it wasn’t that pleasant. Maybe its just my body chemistry? Be Delicious original smells amazing on me. I love the fresh note of the apple!

could be body chem tohnia! def smells diff on my sis than me…she gets more of a floral thing going on and I get a cotton candyish dry down.
