  • Hard Candy Meteor-Eyes ($6)

Meteor- eyes are a high-pigment, baked eye shadow that is a buildable and versatile eye shadow that creates endless incredible looks. Designed to be applied either wet or dry, this eye shadow is baked on a terra cotta disk for ultra rich, long-lasting application. Use “dry” for sheer color or use “wet” for intense dramatic color.

  • Hard Candy Powder Keg ($6)

Youll have a blast experimenting with the Hard Candy colors. Choose from an array of electric, loose eye shadow pigments. These powdery-fine, silky-soft shadows deliver more intense color than pressed or cream eye shadows. The loose pigment formula is made from pearlized powders. Try a little for a sheer wash of color, or layer for bold, shimmering hues. With everything from bold brights to pretty neutrals, there’s something for everyone! The coolest advantage over other brands’ loose pigments? No messy pots! The spill-proof tube uses a special internal funnel to keep pigment inside until you’re ready to use it. The wand features an ergonomic flared handle and a built-in sponge tip applicator. Dip the sponge into the color to apply, or tap out a little color and use your own brushes.

  • Hard Candy Welcome Matte ($8)

I was pretty *meh* about most of the hard candy stuff (except for the living doll blush) and I can say that I’m excited about pretty much everything you have listed here. Will be hauling hardcore fo sho!

    • the Muse

hey vick. I was so so. 50% good, 50% bad. I liked the TM, the Living Doll Blush, some of the glosses, but other stuff failed to impress such as the baked shadow…for the price you can’t really beat it though 😀 I’m looking forward to it all too, looks really nice particularly the matte powder!

  • Sydni A.

I love the look of those shadows, but I bet the glitter fall-out will be horrendous. I want to get one of the hot smudges though.

    • the Muse

LOL sydni I was thinking the same thing, scary ass fall out 😀

  • Audrey

A lot of these remind me of UD formulations… I’m excited! Hope they perform well. 🙂

    • the Muse

hey audrey 😀 Some of the items are quite good, I did a slew of reviews when the collection originally launched def check back to see swatches and such!

  • mercedes

OMG!!! i cant wait for this, will defintelly hauling lotta stuff!!! i got goosebumps from your description!!

    • the Muse

lol Mercedes happy to see you so hyped hun! it’s actually not my description, all hard candy’s 😀

      • mercedes

ohhh, well still the writing was enchanting! hehe, i was going to get the elf train case since it was so cheap ($12) but i am def gonna get hc train case when it comes out!!! soooo ‘cited

  • beeks

Holy guacamole, what a fun collection! Those meteor-eyes shadows look somewhat reminiscent of the Style Black collection from mac last fall. Any word on whether Hard Candy is coming to Canadian shops? I’ve yet to see it at any of my local Wal-Marts, and I live in a pretty big city so I’d be surprised if it was just a question of location.

    • the Muse

true beeks true!!!! 😀 hope they have a brown shade 😀 Not sure 🙁 I’ll ask around and see what I hear for ya doll!

  • Kate

Hmmmm i might be giving the Welcome Matte foundation and the Powder keg eyeshadow a try. (And maybe an eyeliner or two if there are any decent colors left when I have a look see.)

    • the Muse

I was thinking Welcome Matte was cute just b/c of the name Kate! 😀

  • Sami

reviews please. Moon glow sounds interesting and the different liners.

  • Fembot

I was excited about the Hard Candy launch, but totally underwhelmed by last season’s products. The only redeeming item was a bronzer/blush that I picked up.

I’d hate to “fling” my hard earned money on HC again only to be disappointed. 🙁

    • the Muse

hey fembot aw sorry to hear it hun! 🙁 wait on user reviews and such before buying hun!

  • Marina

I am so excited for this. I go to Wally World more than I care to admit…and I always find myself in front of the display, whether I buy or not. I’m really digging the meteor shadows, both sets of liners, and the smudgey liners. Really nice!
My Wal Mart needs to get in shape though. For MONTHS our eyeliners have been empty pretty much…and I went for the Living Doll blush since I liked Honeymoon but wanted something with more pigment, and all they had was Pin Up and Bombshell.

    • the Muse

marina it seems to be selling really well and picked bare according to my sister the Walmart Queen of the New York Area 😀 lol Maybe when Spring launches your walmart will restock 😀

  • Katherine @ Lipgloss and Spandex

I’m so excited for every single one of these products! I can’t wait til they’re in stores.

  • jackieg02

I’m actually quite impressed with the items I’ve tried, be it only blush, lipgloss, and lipstick. I recently bought a baked eyeshadow that I’m not quite happy with, but I think the color selection I made played a big part.

I am excited to see what they offer for Spring. I want to try the matte powder and creme eyeliner!

    • the Muse

mm jackie the baked shadow I got wasn’t so great either sadly 🙁 def want the matte powder myself!

  • clementine

Is it just me, or there a ton of Too Faced knock offs in the line up…? Not sure if it’s good or bad, but the Moon Glow looks interesting!

      • clementine

Haha, yeah, okay, I was mostly looking at the Meteor-eyes, which really remind me of the Galaxy Glams. The colors seem different, but the basic concept is pretty similar, not to mention the space theme. Moon Glow’s description also brought to mind the Candlelight powder. I’d be interested to see how everything stacks up, though!

        • the Muse

true clem true! the space them 😀 that’s very true! and moon glow versus candlelight 😀 I def think Too Faced has the advantage but you never know, could be some killer stuff!

  • laura r

stink, now i’m going to be stepping in to Walmart again! these look intriguing- i’m definitely digging the matte powder for summer and some of the great liners. love the blushes from the initial line.

  • thedogismine

Look, I’m attempting a no-buy here. This is a low blow!!!! Since the new HC is scheduled to appear in May, I might be safe 😀

    • the Muse

LOL thedogismine! I hear ya I hear ya but my no-buys never work LOL if you visit often yours won’t either 😀 LOL!

  • Taryn

The Moon Glow looks so nice, but any display at Wally World is horrendous. Doesn’t matter which one I go to – all of the seals have been broken and the products have been tested. My gosh, can’t they do something to prevent this? I literally couldn’t find *one* lipstick that hadn’t been tested or opened, and there were a ton there. Idiot shoppers! Maybe you could pass this tidbit onto your HC contact, just as feedback?

    • the Muse

omg taryn that stinks. One of my target’s has an awful display too, just GROSS! Mmm I def will, I’m sure she is reading this as well and will pass it on the HC 😀 when all else fails babe you can order at walmart.com too 😀

  • Phyrra

The meteor eyes have my attention if they’re truly highly pigmented! I tried a lot of the Hard Candy stuff, and some of it is good, some ok, an some sucks.

    Awesome:
Baked Blushes (Living Doll, Pinup. Honeymoon)
    Polish (Mr. Wrong)

    Nice:
Curl Up & Die Mascara (Venus, Black)
    Lash Tinsel (Silver)

    Ok:
Ginormous Lashes Mascara (didn’t seem that big to me, clumpy formula)

    Sucky:
Sake and Sushi eyeliners (these were so pretty but lasted like 3 seconds on me)
Eye Shadow Duo (Backstage Pass) (this had like NO PIGMENTATION! It blew!)

    • the Muse

same here dd….hits and misses, it really depends! the shadow duos didn’t work at all for me either! also didn’t love the liners sadly 😛 Did love the blushes but they are difficult to get good color from using a regular blush, have to whip out the kabuki 😀

      • Phyrra

Yeah once I figured out the kabuki worked for the blushes I was in heaven!
What were your favorites that you tried?

        • the Muse

kabuku wise dd? my trusty mini mac kabuki 😀 it’s my fav, never stray!

  • jonnie

Hmm… the moon glow and eyeliners sound interesting. I’ll be waiting for your review… 🙂

  • LIDNARRAGNAR

those powder kegs looks wodnerful + the price 😀

I really love the shapes of those liners it smore like a paintbrush

  • Sylvia

May I ask if you have either of HC’s Spotlighters? :\ I’d like a good review – if you have it- & I’d like to know what I should do with one if I get either….. and I don’t know which one to choose 🙁

    • the Muse

hi Sylvia sadly I don’t have one. I did a review on the concealer pack they have but never picked up their spotlighters. Sorry hun

  • Steph

Hard to believe this is the same brand with the signature nail polishes that featured color-coordinated jelly rings! Last I heard from them, their products were more expensive (comparable to Urban Decay, which I think is its sister brand) but had clearance pricing, and had lots of pastel colored packaging (esp. pastel blue). Good to know they aren’t gone for good!
