The Muse happens to be a firm believer that splurging on certain makeup items is a good thing that includes makeup brushes.
Brushes are such an important start to makeup application so dropping a little cash on some good ones is always in order as far as I’m concerned.
Not everyone has a lot of cash hanging around to splurge on a $30-$45 dollar blush brush though which is completely understandable particularly in this economy.
Solution?
The E.L.F. Studio Brush Collection will set you back $3 for a brush and they are pretty nice!

What’s up this morning peeps? Tis hump day w00t! Don’t tell anyone, but I kinda like the word hump, oops did I write that out loud?
Before you know it the weekend will be here, thanks to the gods above and maybe if you’re lucky the Easter bunny will pay a visit to your house carrying a basket full of makeup or if you’re a bad girl (or boy) you’ll get marshmallow peeps! God, I hope I was a good girl because lord knows I can’t stomach marshmallow peeps.
I have to get my hair in order and get my Easter bonnet out, something big with ribbons and flowers and sprigs of green….yes that should do the trick.
Speaking of getting my hair in order, dude, did you know Avon has $4 shampoo?

I’m a self proclaimed lover of lip stain. I honestly don’t leave the house without staining my lips. Glosses wear prettier when you have stain under them, lips look more inviting with lip stain in place, and I’m not retouching my lips every hour on the hour since stain is so much more long wearing than gloss or lipstick, just a few of the reasons that lip stain is one of my favorite things.
Hearing about MAC Pro Longwear Lipstain Marker had me all kinds of excited. Lip markers from MAC? Hells yes please.

How awesome is it when Oprah does her Favorite Things episode? I swear I love seeing all those chicks in the audience going buck freaking wild when she says she’s giving them a tin of popcorn or a moisturizer, I mean you get the same reaction with the popcorn as you do when she says she’s giving away a free car. It’s screaming and tears and sobbing and OMGZZZZZZZ all over the damn place, hells some people fall down and convulse in excitement. Popcorn, car, whatever it’s Oprah and those women are all about Oprah and the swag!
