Sneak Peeks: Bath and Body Works Summer Collection 2010

I admit I wanted to see some Bath and Body Temptation lovin’ for Summer 2010 and maybe we’ll still get some but for now here’s a sneak peek at what is in store for Bath and Body Works Summer 2010!

Jump!

Looks like three scents will hit first for Summer 2010 all Vanilla related. The Muse isn’t big on Vanilla to be honest but mixed up with other notes, I could get interested.

In this case it’s a mix of Coconut Vanilla, Berry Vanilla, and Lemon Vanilla. All three are available in trial size lotions for $1 each on the Bath and Body Works website. They could be in store to but I wouldn’t know as I avoid BBW like the plague as the sales reps are a little too pushy for me.

Count me curious! Sounds like some very nice blends.

Have you had a sniffle yet?

What would you like to see from Bath and Body Works this Summer?

I know I’d love to see some new Temptations, bring ’em back BBW, bring ’em back!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ooh I just got some coupons in the mail for BBW yesterday! Super good excuse for popping in for a sniff of the lemon and coconut!

Coconut Vanilla sounds great! I’ll def try that one. Lemon and Berry sound nice as well!

I was able to get a whiff of these the other day. Berry Vanilla is meh, Vanilla Coconut is lovely but it reminds me very much of the Coconut Vanille that is in their Passport Tahiti collection, and Lemon Vanilla is simply awesome. It reminds me of Hello Sugar but just a little less sweet. Lemon Vanilla is a keeper but the others are just kinda there.

erin ohhhh berry wasn’t great erin? 🙁 that’s the one I was kinda into but I can totally dig on lemon vanilla 😀 what’s the deal with lemon this year? It’s everywhere!

THESE SMELL SOOOOOOOOO GOOD! They were in store yesterday for $1 and I had to get the lemon and berry one. I don’t know how to describe them.. the berry is more strawberryish to me. You must try! =]

Ooh, count me interested in vanilla lemon! Although BBW lotion is never ever moisturizing enough for me…

Ooooo, these all sound great! (Wow, lemon/vanilla really IS a popular scent lately!)
I might even venture into a BBW store to grab these. I normally avoid the stores because of the SAs too…and because they don’t have my beloved Jasmine scent in stores anymore. 🙁
    Thanks for the heads up!

That is totally how I feel about their sales reps also! I feel like I’m being mauled whenever I go into the store! I want to get a shirt that says “I’M DOING FINE LEAVE ME ALONE” just for when I shop there. I’ve never gone into their store and NOT had to listen to their whole spiel from at least 3 seperate employees within the first 15 minutes. It’s ridiculous. Even when I tell them clearly that I’m only browsing, they still ask me a bunch of questions and point out a bunch of products.

I will say though, that I was in there a few days ago and tried each one of these vanilla scents. The Lemon and Berry were fantastic – definitely yummy smelling, and the lemon one is at the top of my list for scents I want this summer.

As a coconut scent lover though, the coconut one was disappointing. It didn’t smell too different to me from their other coconut scents (Coconut Vanille, Exotic Coconut, Creamy Coconut, etc). It was a vaguely sweet and vanilla-y coconut scent, and while it’s nice enough – if you own any of the other coconut scents from B&BW, you could easily pass on this one.

brianne it’s really bad. I can totally relate sigh. I avoid BBW like the plague and just take to orderin’ online b/c I can’t stand the drama of heading in store. thanks for the mini review, haven’t smelled yet but I think lemon and berry will be tops for me !

  • Non pushy SA

Why dont you talk to the manager or better yet call head office and tell them that you avoid bbw because of the push enviroment, Us SA want to let you shop in peace and help you when you want it, but its comapny policy to ask you if you want to try the 900 things in store, or want a bag, or tell you all promos when your not intrested, If bbw knew they were losing sales because of this, im pretty sure they would change and become more relaxed about approaching people, and not hit evryone for a demo and to put 1 item in thier hand. Trust us we hate having to push, but our managers and the comapny make us !! 🙂

hi non pushy…sadly really don’t even bother 😀 just order online and save myself a migraine haha!
