Aww, the cork is what I like about it – esp the little zippered bag. I like that there are red/coral in the eye palette, too. Meh, on the brush handles, tho.

paula the cork intrigued me 😀 I totally wanna to stick some pins in it 😀 I’m not sure about the bamboo brush handles myself!

  • Kelsey

I really like that little makeup bag and palette. Not so sure about those brush handles, but I’m just picky.. I like my brushes to be sleek and black, so I’m a little prejudice against another non-black brushes. Grr.. lol

    • the Muse

kelsey not so sure about them either….hmmm bamboo? But everything else likey! oh gosh no you aren’t 😀 I like basic black myself!

I love the brushes, and even the cork stylings of the whole collection. I wish that palette was only eyes though, I hate when companies mix powder shadows and lipsticks. it gets so gross in there!

    • the Muse

hey knownever I hear ya…hate lips and eyes together, makes a messy palette indeed!

  • Johanna

Hey Muse! Like Kelsey, I also prefer my brush handles to be sleek and black. Brush handles that are too wide especially urk me because they take up too much room in my makeup tray. That being said, I own a few SK brushes, and have been impressed with the quality of them for the price.

    • the Muse

me too johanna for the price I def say nice 😀 although I agree, I also find they are hard to work with too!

  • Kate

Oh I like! I would seriously consider tossing some of my older make up brushes for those!

I am all over the eye brushes and the 6 piece brush set =) I like the design very earthy =) I am also waiting for the michelle phan gigantic brushes I am merely interested in the eye brushes tho.

    • the Muse

hey daisy kinda digging on ’em too 😀 I have too many brushes groan!

I like the cork-like (can’t be real, right?) clutch. I’m going have to keep in eye out for it. Like I need more travel brushes.

  • Angie

Yep, the cork is definitely weird, but I want the pallette! I got the eye shadow pallette they had out at Christmas and I love it!

  • Angie

Just FYI, my Target (in AZ) had the entire cork collection today, including the pallette (which of course I bought)!

I have a question – I’m new to buying different brushes for different looks. I don’t know if you have done a post before on this, but what would you say the 10 most essential brushes are in a beginner’s stash? I went to a MAC counter and they used some really cool foundation brush on me…anyway, I’d love your opinion on the brushes I need to buy!!! ♥
