The Body Shop Originals Collection: The Body Shop Ice Blue Shampoo Review

Have I told you lately how much I adore mint?! And mint in my shampoo? Oh thank the gods above! I love that.

Jump!

The Body Shop Ice Blue Shampoo is making my world go right round baby, right round! Sooooo you might think Lush Ice Blue Shampoo right away but it’s actually quite different so don’t think you have a dupe on your hands here as for me the products are completely different.

The Body Shop Ice Blue Shampoo is one of those shampoos that leaves hair really soft and invigorated, quite clarifying in many ways. It tingles a fair bit when lathered on and gives off a hint of minty freshness but also has a very fresh scent to it as well and perhaps a little herbal, so it’s not ALL mint. I use it when my hair feels like it weights 10 pounds to heavy as it clarifies beautifully due to the lack of silicons in the formula, seriously try it without conditioner and you’ll notice your hair is considerably softer after use.

Of course, part of it’s appeal is the cooling mint which makes your scalp whistle and perhaps sing a little diddy. It’s produces a slight cool tingle and is quite refreshing! Any hair type can take advantage but those who need clarifying or have oily hair will see the best results in my opinion. My hair is pretty dry and it seems to like it but when my hair is feeling lackluster or oily due to product build up, I do notice the best results.

Quite a lovely little shampoo and sadly back for a limited time unless you vote to keep it! Visit www.thebodyshop.com to find your favorites from the Body Shop Originals Collection and help to keep them in stock!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
