The Muse Loves….The Tarina Tarantino Beauty Website

Oh a crummy, cold Monday morning the Muse is getting her fix of all things beautiful at the Tarina Tarantino Beauty Website.

The Muse Loves It!

Jump!

How impressive they launched an entire website for the Tarina Tarantino Beauty Collection at Sephora. I don’t believe they did this with the other house brands they have so it’s a nice toss up.

The site features the entire line in high res photos plus additional info about Tarina and the background for the products, inspiration, etc…it’s kinda a nice way to waste away a little time on your Monday morning.

Seriously who wants to work when we can procrastinate all things pretty on this site?

Visit ttbeauty.com to enjoy the goodies!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I went to Sephora last Friday and played with everything. I got Broken Doll eyeliner and a sample of the primer. So many of the eyeshadows are so pretty and I am really hoping that she does a palette someday with a bunch of those pretty shades combined into one handy palette!

    • the Muse

kristin good call, I’d LOVE a palette 🙂 How did they swatch? I’m hearing mixed reviews…I haven’t ordered yet, was trying to wait for Sephora to get it in stock but obviously feel an order coming on before that 😀

Eyeshadow swatches were hit and miss honestly. They were all different textures- some pearl, some shimmer, and some glitter. I would compare the ones with glitter to NARS shadows with glitter (like Fathom). The glitter wasn’t huge and chunky like Urban Decay. Some seemed a wee bit chalky and others seemed very smooth. I would definitely recommend playing at Sephora before buying. My Sephora had the full display out, so they should be at your store by now. The eyeliners were gorgeous and smooth. Broken Doll stayed on my waterline all day.

hey kristin thanks for the mini review! I def wanna swatch prior to hauling! it sounds like maybe 50/50 at this. alot of good reviews but also some bad!

ohhh Tarina seems so nice and muse omfg I thought this was just a gimmicky brand no quite the oppisite i got the hypereyeliner in silver gun (its white and shimmery) and sweet baby jesus was it pigmented unlike the urban decay 24/7 eyeliner they actually applied to my waterline ( in one swipe) and the best part it stuck!! also i could use it under my browbone for a lil lift. I am so excited about this collection I wish it was a bit cheaper though.

I know you love sparkle and i bet anything that you would love that sparklicity shimmer dust

    • the Muse

OMG excited Linda as everyone I’ve talked to say stay away so glad it’s a go 😀 omg I wants the sparklicity shimmer dust bad..trying hard to hold out to see in store but my online cart looks more appealing as my stores haven’t gotten it yet grr!

It’s here at my Sephora in Canada! My 16 year old(who has pink hair too) freaked right out when she saw it, so we got a bunch of stuff: the Sparklicity Shimmer Dust-it’s nice-subltle, tiny little pieces of glitter-looks nice in her pink hair, Parasol Dollskin Blush-my FAVE blush now- a shimmery pinky coral, dollskin eyeliner-a light pink shimmery eyeliner-very unique, a lipstick in candy jar, and a lip gloss in Ruffle(light ivory peach). The eyeshadows I think are ok-some of them swatch great, some of them aren’t as pigmented as I’d have liked.

aww tracy how fun! Your daughter sounds a treat 😀 thanks for the mini review…trying hard not to order online as I wanna play in store but I haven’t seen it yet in store grr!

Enjoy the purchases or at least your daughter lol doubt she’ll share eh?! 🙂

      • Tracy

Hahaha-you have her pegged all right! I don’t blame her-Tarina is one of her faves. Although I had to buy 2 of those blushes-because I wouldn’t share! 🙂

        • the Muse

LOL Tracy! I can’t say I blame her either but at least you got two blushes out of the deal :-D!!!!!!!!

  • Hana

I seriously LOVE the lipstick used on the cover of the latest Sephora catalog. .<

Oh, speaking of Sephora, I got that set of three Korres lip glosses recently since I knew you liked them pretty well and I adore Korres, and they're really nice! So thanks for the review on those. 😀

    • the Muse

yay hana good score. I really enjoyed those both the value and the formula was rocking 🙂 that lipstick was gorg I could prob NEVER pull it off but it was heaps pretty 🙂

      • Hana

If I knew what color it was for sure I’d probably get it to try. 😀 I love those bright pinks and corals like actresses were wearing in a lot of the Korean dramas I was watching a couple years ago.

Dude, I just realized I haven’t watched a drama in ages. ;_; Gotta find out what’s supposed to be good now.

        • the Muse

I dunno…hmm must find out 😀 bright shades rock but I can’t pull them off on my lippies!

Oh city hall, Cinderella man are hot us side right now 😀 but there are TONS of new stuff showing/playing in Korea right now and a new Cinderella type story that Moon Geun Young plays her first evil role in!

Hey there! Our Sephora got the line in recently and I love everything! The eyeliners are gorgeous and stay on all day! Love the “tommy jet” black for tightlining. Awesome. I also bought the last “brooch”eyeshadow. It’s a rich brown. You just need to pat it on.
The lip conditioner in “showroom” is incredible. I paired it with the “ruffle” lipgloss . Beautiful baby pink combination. Oh, it also looks great with one of the Etude lip perfumes, too! 🙂 I’m so glad I took your advice and ordered a few of those.

    • the Muse

      hey susan!

Thanks for the mini review 😀 I’m so happy to hear such a fab review! I can’t wait to haul myself :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Omg dontcha just love those? They are so lovely!

  • julz

Our Sephora got the line as well, and I must say I’m super impressed with it! The Sparklicity powder is amazing and I put it on my dark hair ALL the time while I’m there! The eyeshadows are actually quite pigmented and are meant to be patted on as opposed to swiped or swatched. Then you can see the color! And yes, the liners are silky smooth!

And if her Kapinki brush is any indication of softness, her brushes HAVE to be luxurious!

    • the Muse

hey julz really digging on the powder too, so pretty! 😀 thanks for the mini review everything sounds so gorg!
