What’s Your Favorite Makeup Remover Wipes? Biore Makeup Remover Towelettes with Green Tea Review

Hey Chicklets, what’s your favorite makeup remover wipes? I personally kinda have a thing for the MAC ones but they kinda leave my skin sticky after use. Yak! Ive been using Biore ones for ages and Im really diggin on Neutrogenas as they smell really nice.

Biore has new ones out which have green tea…hmmm a cuppa with your makeup remover wipe?

k.

Jump!

Biore Makeup Remover Towelettes with Green Tea are infused with green tea, not the drinking kind, which is known for its antioxidant and detoxifying properties.
Mmm ok, whatevers.

The good news is these seem a little stronger and more interesting than my standard Biore Makeup Wipes which are chilling out in my bathroom cabinet. The wipes are a nice large size and have a quilted design with itty, bitty tiny holes in the wipe. I find those little holes actually offer a gentle exfoliation as you remove your makeup, seriously, it does! These are nice and big, strong (they wont rip or tear if youre a bit rough with ’em), and arent overly saturated so you arent left dripping with makeup remover after use.

The wipes are fresh smelling and provide an easy way to clean up when youre being a little lazy and avoiding your normal night time skin care regime. They do an ok job on waterproof mascara, not great, but not bad either plus they dont leave skin feeling tight after use. Sensitive types be aware as the fragrance is pleasant enough but can prove a little too much for some.

If youre a lazy girl at the end of a long day and arent interested in using a ton of product to get your makeup off, Biore Makeup Remover Towelettes offers a cheap and easy way to get your makeup off quick and easy.

Available now for $6.99 at drugstores.

hi musey! funny enough i was just gonna ask u if you tried the costco facial cleansing wipes!?! got a sample pack w/my son’s baby wipes & they weren’t bad. bought a big pack @ costco & they kinda sting a little…uber cheap, but not worth the sting in my eyes. don’t got a fave cuz haven’t tried enough.

    • the Muse

Hi muse! I love the ponds clean sweep make up removing wipes! I bought a six pack of them from amazon and they’re fabulousss for those nights when i just can’t physically bring myself to the bathroom to wash my face haha.

    • the Muse

haven’t tried those kristine 😀 must grab some! lol I have those nights too hun!

I have been using the Neutrogena night calming makeup wipes, but I find they leave too much of a slick feeling residue on my face. I normally use the Neutrogena oil-free wipes, I like those.

I’ll definetly have to give these Biore ones a try.

I’m never without Simple oil balancing wipes. Theyre great for taking off my makeup, without leaving a weird residue on my skin and they dont bring me out in spots yaay. Plus often on offer of 2 for 1 at tescos – bargain!

I used to use Neutrogena’s wipes until I tried Pond’s wipes. They are cheap and I feel like they remove better than Neutrogena’s wipes. I’ve also heard good things about Target’s Up and Up wipes. Can you do a review on those if you have the time?

    • the Muse

up and up wipes? must check those out jess thanks 😀 def will do!

I bought these today after reading your review.
    I love them!
I am the world’s laziest when it comes to washing my face at night and these will be a lifesaver.
The only problem that I found was that they made my face a smidge dry.
But, overall, they are totally worth it.

    • the Muse

really cassidy? thankfully no dryness here but totally know what you mean. with wipes I either get a sticky film or dry, itchy skin after use, not fun!

I really like Basis Cleansing Cloths because they are individually wrapped which makes them super convenient for traveling. They come in a box of 20 for $5 at Ulta. They’re a very basic wipe, no fancy ingredients but they get the job done and leave your skin clean and without residue. Very handy when you are on the go and can’t shlep the usual supplies with you.

I just bought these Biore makeup removing wipes yesterday… HATE THEM! Not only do they not do a great job of removing eye makeup, but on top of that they left my eye area stinging, burning & red : (

I am actually thinking of writing to Biore to try to get my $ back (which I would normally NEVER do) but I just feel like I wasted $7 on something that I can’t bear using again!

    What a bummer!
