OMG! Dude! I love this stuff. I’m really keen on the sweet, tart taste of lemon and equally fascinated by the scent so of course I’m kinda all about digging on the new Body Shop Sweet Lemon Collection. They pretty much covered everything in the way of body care with the new Sweet Lemon Collection but I can’t help but wish for a body spray or fragrance in lemon, perhaps for the Summer?
But today isn’t about the bath and body bits of the collection, I’m concentrating on my lips which are all puckered up on the sugary sweet tartness from The Body Shop Sweet Lemon Lip Butter. Loves it!
This formula is like body butter but for your lips! It’s a dreamy, creamy milky formula that glides onto lips leaving behind a high shine and the tart taste of lemons. The butter-like texture just feels so incredible on my dry, parched lips! The formula contains anti-oxidants and vitamin C to moisturize and soften your lips while shea butter helps to protect and nourish. It conditions my dry lips and leaves them soft and smooth. I like keeping this by my bed and slathering on before heading off to dream land. It’s a bit too rich for me to wear out but love it prior to bed as I wake up with super soft lips in the AM.

I think I do! I avoided buying the lip butter just ’cause I don’t like the sticking my finger in the pot thing… it does sound nice too. Maybe I’ll indulge next visit. I don’t live near any Body Shops so it’s easier to just say no!
I think the only complaint I have with the lotion is that the scent doesn’t linger. Oh well.

Ooh wants it! I just stopped in the other day and loved the lemon scent but couldn’t decide what I wanted. I don’t think I even saw the lip butter. Time to make my first body shop purchase

o/t as usual but similar to jonnie’s comment have you smelled the lemon pomegranate (co bigelow) @ BBW? i’m not really a pom chic but it give just a bit of sweetness and smooths out the lemon i think, ck it out 
i briefly sniffed this sweet lemon and for some reason i got a good amount of floral with it?? maybe it was just me or some other things mixing, i think it was the body butter?
no dina….but it’s not in a mist or perfume right just the body lotion or something right? nooo no floral here just straight hardcore lemon, sniff again!!!!!!!!!

Remember the old BBW scent Limelight? Still my all-time favorite… ahh… you can still find it sometimes on eBay but at this point I’m thinking ahh, it was discontinued in early ’98… it’s not exactly fresh any more!

Oh goodness, I’ve been trying to avoid this store like the plague lately. I know as soon as I go in, I’ll indulge way too much. But this lip butter sounds mighty tasty! Might have to pick up the lighter moisturizer and shower gel, what a perfect pick me up in the morning! Makes me think of lemon pound cake, lemonade and summers. Why must I be tempted so?

this sounds amazing not often i get that excited by something for my lips (unless its some wacky blue lipgloss or something) but my lips are so dry right they were just getting better after winter but friends gig on saturday and the venue was like a sauna but i didnt get a drink (was too busy jumping up and down non stop for 4 hours) and they are a real cracked mess going to drop in past body shop asap and get this

I love the body shop’s lip butters I have pretty much all of them and they are so good the smell and what they do for your lips. Next to bath and body works the body shop is my go to place.

Thank you for the recommendation Muse! I have sampled so many lip balms and this is first one that has JUST enough moisture for my chapped lips. I wish LUSH could take note and make their lipbalms as glossy!
