Beauty Abroad: Beauty DIY Pineapple Deep Wash Review
Hey chicks!
What’s new? How was your weekend? Mine FLEW by and I’m pretty drained today, exhausted actually, quite knackered really…get the point?
I recently indulged in BeautyDIY Pineapple Deep Wash, you probably guessed already, it was the pineapples that tempted. Hey, its almost Summer right and pineapples in my face wash sounded every so delightful!
Jump!
What is it?
Beauty DIY Pineapple Deep Wash contains natural pineapple extract and is a foaming facial wash cleanser. The formula is recommended for oily skin which is why I purchased it as when the Summer arrives I can use a little help with an oily forehead!
The Good….
The cleanser is pretty much a standard Asian foaming face wash. The texture is that of a shaving cream which lathers up creating mounds of cleansing foam. It has a fresh slightly pineapple scent and gets face super squeaky clean.
The Bad…..
It comes in a plastic tube which looks quite nice on your vanity or bathroom sink but not so hot in terms of germs and bacteria. Can be a little drying even when used on oily skin.
Who might like it?
- Anyone seeking out an inexpensive Asian foaming cleanser ($12.50 for a really large tube).
- Anyone interested in a cleanser that smells faintly of pineapple!
Who might not like it?
- Women with dry skin (this will make things considerably worst).
- Anyone who doesn’t like the idea of sticking their hands into a product and prefers a squeeze or pump bottle for their cleanser.
Final Thoughts….
As I said I purchased because I was interested in a pineapple cleanser, can’t resist skincare the smells gorgeous! However, its really nothing I don’t already own as I have dozens and dozens of foaming face cleansers from Asia already. You may like it because of the inexpensive price tag or if you’re just wanting to explore Asian brands.
Personally I don’t think its worth the haul. Grab something else.
