Benefit Spring Collection 2010: Benefit Velvet Eye Shadow Nice Melons and Bo Beep Review and Swatches
It’s been a little quiet on the Benefit front hasn’t it….
Do you think they’ll be introducing some crazy cool offering for Summer 2010? I’m dead curious about what’s in the works over there for Summer but for now how about I occupy you with Benefit Spring 2010?
New shades of Benefit Velvet Shadows hit the stands a few months ago and I’ve been busy playing with ’em! Bestest shade evers? Nice Melons, oh hail you needs it!
Jump!
I’ve done a detailed review of Benefit Velvet Eye Shadows before so def go check it prior to reading my dribble about the new shade selections on offer for Spring 2010.
There are a total of six new shades to choose from and I do so believe that Nice Melons is the best kids. I wasn’t so into Bo Peep which I also tested out but damn that Nice Melons is totally turning into an HG (holy grail) eye shadow of choice. Of course, the name doesn’t hurt either, I’m easily amused.
If you’re a lover of mod pinks you’ll absolutely adore Benefit Velvet Eyeshadow in Bo Beep. It’s a rather a great little shade for waking up tired eyes and will work on just about anyone.
Now…
My fav!
Nice Melons is a sweet soft peach shade that’s every so flattering on my lid. I have alot of oranges, corals, and peach shades but Nice Melons is probably the nicest I now own. Its extra soft on my eye and looks so stunning on. It’s an ideal shade for Spring but it’s going to rock when Summer approaches and I’m wanting to sport warmer colors.
Benefit Velvet Eyeshadows all sport a pigmented, buttery smooth formula. If you like shadows that glide onto your eyes sans fall out and mess these should appeal but do read my prior review for more details.
Verdict?
You need Nice Melons in your life.
Gorgeous shade!
Muse Approved for purchase and a must have shade for Spring and Summer in my humblest.
Loves it!
Anyone a fan of these shadows?
