Daily Dose of Beauty: Lancome Teint Idole Fresh Wear

How does 18 hours of shine free-wear sound to you?

Sounds bloody great to me!

Please can I has some Lancome Teint Idole Fresh Wear please?

Lancome promises their new makeup formula will achieve 18 hours of shine-free perfection in a fresh, lightwear formula that controls oil and offers a natural, matte, poreless finish.

I’m not oily at the moment (gotta wait for the Summer sun to see any oil on this face) but I must say the idea of a base that would wear 18 hours on me sounds to good too be true.

$32 and available now at Sephora.

What say you?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ohhh yes please. Now can I justify a Sephora order so I can buy some?

I recently tried out a sample of Lancome’s regular Teint Idole, and I am already a huge fan of it. The color matched me perfectly, and even though I’m really oily the stuff stays put. Unfortunately though, I can’t vouch for it’s matte-ness, because at the end of the day I look oilier than ever! It looks so beautiful and natural, but I definitely need to carry blotting papers, which makes me reluctant to dish out $42 for a bottle. I’m super excited about this being cheaper, and maybe more matte!
