Daily Dose of Beauty: Leslie Blodgett Perfume Diaries

Damn. I think Leslie created her Perfume Diaries range just to tempt people like me who have the pokemon disease (gotta collect ’em all!).

I took a little sniffle of the Leslie Blodgett Perfume Diaries Bare Skin Eau de Parfum Spray recently and it wasn’t anything that I had to have but it was unique enough to warrant a reason to purchase it.

And now? She has a new blend that screams MUSE!

The newest blend in the collection is Golden Light Eau de Parfum Spray which is described as sunshine in a bottle. Like each of Leslie’s scents, this is inspired by a certain place or time in her life. Golden Light is inspired by her happy-go-lucky summer days of growing up. The scent is a cheerful blend of crisp citrus, juicy fruits and mellow musk.

“When I think of Golden Light, I think of sipping fresh squeezed lemonade on the front lawn of the house I grew up in. This scent captures the playfulness and effervescence of those carefree days.” “Leslie Blodgett

Say what? Fresh squeezed lemonade? I am so on board with that!

Notes include Mandarin, Kiwi, Bergamot, Juicy Red Currant, Water Lily, Honeysuckle, White Peony Teakwood, Musk, and Orris.

I think I love it hard. Sounds delightful!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I bought the Bare Skin as a body butter when it came out. I really like the scent, and love how long the scent lingers with the body butter.

I’m actually tempted to try the other two out. One can’t have too many body butters! lol
