EDUN for Sephora Palettes

I gotta say, its not often I get excited about Sephora makeup. Some of it is good and some of it is bad and most important most of the time I’m not really on board with it. Shrug. Just fails to excite me.

However, the new EDUN for Sephora Palettes excite.

Likey!

Jump!

These are a nature-based beauty palette that are allergen and talcum-free mineral powders. EDUN was created by U2 lead singer, my husband (what? I can dream), lead singer Bono and his sometimes wife, when I’m not busy being his wife, Ali Hewson with the help of designer Rogan Gregory.

The set includes 6 shadows, and one blush housed in a natural wood case and is available in two shade selections.

EDUN for Sephora Palette Contrast is made up of greens, oranges, and other vibrant shades while EDUN for Sephora Harmony is made up of earthy shades of bronze, gold, and brown.

Each palette is $36 with proceeds supporting The Wildlife Conservation Society, specifically for the Conservation Cotton Initiative, which trades with African farmers and helps them develop organic cotton for an enhanced living, supports the community where the cotton is grown, and protects local biodiversity.

I think they look kinda nifty or am I alone here? Harmony looks like a rather stunning palette. They are definitely reminisce of the palette that Smashbox had last year for Earth Day, the name of which escapes me at the moment.

What do you think?

Available from Sephora.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Yes please! I’ll take both. (Even though the blushes won’t get much use.)

I _just_ saw these on the sephora site as well!! Great minds think alike… 😉
I’m very intrigued by these, especially the vibrant colored palette. I’d like to swatch these and see what the colors are like. As you mention above, Sephora can be hit or miss. But, I bought an LE safari palette last year and loved it, but have been put off by some of their other products. 🙁 …I’ll let you know when I can get my hands on a palette for testing!!

I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

the Harmony palette is gorg! The Contrast one doesn’t tickle my fancy sadly. I don’t feel that all the colours work well together.

  • Jojo

I bought Harmony last weekend and I haven’t used it, mostly because I don’t know much about makeup. Can you please give me some good color combinations with the Harmony palette and how to put it on?
    🙂

    • the Muse

hi jojo I don’t actually have the palette but looks like you can contrast nicely with some of the deeper browns or even use a brown on outer v and gold on lid etc…

  • Sarah~

These look very much like the little paint sets that you’d get as a small child, or how I view them, they do.
    They look very pleasant~~
