Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Collection 2010 Review and Swatches: Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Exotic Lip Gloss and Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Liquid Eyeshadow Review and Swatches
Ok, fess up, who indulged heavy hard in the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Collection? And dude, if you didn’t, stop reading and go get some of that good stuff.
Jokes aside, the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Collection is one of favorite releases of the year from the company and this year is no different. Loves it!
Jump!
Best parts of the collection? The fragrance of course but loving all over the Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Liquid Eyeshadow and the Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Exotic Lip Gloss.
What is it?
The Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Collection consists of the popular release of its Bronze Goddess Fragrance and includes pieces of wonderful makeup that breaks into Spring and proceeds to follow through well into Summer!
The Good….
I got a chance to try out the liquid eyeshadow and one of the glosses. Soon after, I was dialing up www.esteelauder.com and proceeding to plop the other gloss in my cart as well as the shadows I didn’t get.
The shadows are a metallic liquid cream that has incredible vibrancy and color pay off. They have a really rich, creamy formula that was love at first stroke. I tried Sand Shimmer which is a nude, sandy beige and Aqua Flash which is an extra vibrant shade of aqua. To apply you simply stroke on and blend out or pat into place. They come with a handy sponge applicator which allows for easy application. I wouldn’t normally suggest using a cream shadow as a base but these dry down so quickly you can easily apply a little shadow on top for more of an impact. The overall effect is really wow aspiring in my opinion plus dude these are so waterproof. Once they are on, they aren’t going anywhere! You could prob take a nice dip in the pool and still have your eyeshadow in place.
Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Exotic Lip Gloss in Wild Coral is totally taking over my obession with MAC Pink Grapefruit. Love this shade. The color is a really outrageous orange that applies like a dream thanks to the brush applicator (god, I love brush applicators!). The shade has a nice coral base but comes across as a nice juicy orange shade on lips, nothing dramatic or crazy, as hey you think orange, you think crazy.
The Bad….
Shadows are a little too quick to dry down so it makes blending a little difficult at time. The darker colors stain a little bit as well and prove difficult to remove if you aren’t using an oil based remover. Darker shades prove extra difficult to work with as its hard to build color up so I suggest allow it to dry and proceeding to follow up with an extra layer to get the best color pay off.
Who might like the collection?
- Anyone who wants some gorgeous shades for a Summer vacation!
- Anyone who adores vibrant shades of gold, purple, and aqua!
- Anyone who adores the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Collection ever year!
Who might not like it?
- Anyone who doesn’t like liquid eyeshadow!
- Anyone who finds it difficult to work with liquid shadow that dries down extra fast.
Final Thoughts…..
Personally, I think the liquid shadows and Wild Coral Lipgloss are definitely worth a haul! I ended up purchasing the other two shades recently plus the other gloss. I think its safe to say the collection has a little something for everyone and you’re bound to find at least one item you love.
Gorgeous release in my opinion and well worth a trip to your local counter to have a little sneaky peep and a swatch.
Anyone haul anything from the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Collection?
