Eyeko Nail Polish Review and Swatches
Nail girls can get on board with this post.
Did I mention I’m so NOT a nail girl? But I broke out some falsies and painted ’em up with Eyeko Nail Polish for you guys, I thought you might enjoy a break from my normal cosmetic babblings.
Check ’em after the jump!
Eyeko’s cute packaging has always appealed to the Muse. With a manga adorned lot of makeup and some cute polishes, Eyeko should appeal to those of you who enjoy the kawaii when it comes to your makeup.
I know I can personally get on board with anything cute.
Way back before the Internet discovered Eyeko the Muse had blogged a bit about it and it was quite soon after started popping up everywhere. An English brand in roots, it still managed to make a special guest starring appearance at Sephora a few year’s ago and a follow up spot on Cherry Culture and and on one of my favorite indie shops, Sugar Pine Beauty.
It’s always been one of those contracting brands that is well known but unheard of.
Recently, they introduce a new line of polish to their line up, here’s the deets on ’em!
At $5 per a bottle or 4 for $15 you prob won’t break the bank by indulging in a few of these cute Eyeko Nail Polishes. They come in a range of fresh funky shades, soft pastels, and even a few nude shades for the more reserved among us.
According to Eyeko their polish features a nail friendly formula that is Toluene, Formaldehyde, DBP and Camphor free. No color fade thanks to UV absorbers and an amazing glossy, chip resistant finish which strengthens nails too.
I tried out four shades which were as follows Eyeko Nude Polish (pinky beige shade for a perfect french manicure), Eyeko Purple Polish (rich purple), Eyeko Lilac Polish (a pale, sugary shade of lilac! Quite lovely for Spring), and Eyeko Vintage Polish (jade green at it’s best. Perfect dupe for MAC Peppermint Patti and Chanel Jade).
If you’re wanting something that brings the cute in a range of cute, fun nail polishes, Eyeko Nail Polish should appeal.
Available now from Eyeko.
