Fun and Games With Rosette Foaming Sponges: Rosette Foaming Sponge Review

Sometimes you need a little stupid with the serious.

I introduced you to Rosette a few months ago when I showed you some of the sweet Hello Kitty offerings from the brand. When I hauled those pieces I also got a set of Rosette Foaming Sponges, a completely stupid beauty product that’s actually quite helpful and cute.

Jump!

What is it?

It’s a trio of three sponges that almost sport the texture of a brillo pad but are a tad on the softer side.

What the hell are they for Muse?

Well….

You take your favorite foaming face cleanser, squirt a little on the sponge, squish and squeeze to create foam and wash your face with the lather and foam the sponge creates but NOT with the sponge itself.

What’s the point?

Well, none really. It’s a nice way to gently clean your skin with lather from your favorite face wash and its also an easier way to get great mountains of foam from your cleanser without having to apply the cleanser to your hands and face first. I know I hate that sometimes my favorite cleanser doesn’t foam up nearly as much as I’d want. Solution? Use these!

It comes with three sponges and a tiny stand for each one. It’s completely sanitary since you aren’t using the sponge on your face merely squeezing to create lather and applying that onto your skin with your hands. You can save some money with these as you only need a less than a pea size amount of cleanser as this creates MASSIVE foam. These rinse clean in a snap as well and you can simply sit them on your sink in their little stand to dry off.

I only paid a two bucks for three of ’em but I noticed Sasa has the same trio for $5.

Is it worth a haul?

Yes.

Particularly if you use Asian foaming cleansers as it works best with those.

Stupid ?

Yes.

Fun?

Totally.

Happy days!

Muse Approved for purchase.

Available from JPmon (got mine there) or Sasa.

What do you think?

Would this be a beauty tool you MIGHT embrace?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I wonder if this would work on soap? I don’t need these for my facial cleanser but I have some Lush Spice Curls soap that I love the whiff of but it’s a struggle to get any kind of lather from it. I don’t expect mountains of foam from it (it’s a hard soap formula) but a little would be good when I wash my hands with it.
The sponge is so cute along with it’s teeny little stand! It’s that asian attention to detail that we love. I have a similar thing from Missha which is a mini net sponge to lather your facial cleansers with.

aw no bora use this dear:

most drugstores have ’em. They are great for soap. Stick in your soap, later up and go 😀 creates MOUNTAINS of lather 😀 I use it in the shower.

Asians def go with the kawaii 😀

Hey Muse, this looks pretty similar to a foaming sponge/ball that Fancl has which they recommend to use on their washing powder!
I never thought of using it on other cleansers too though. Mmm i like that. And the packaging is so cute.

My nighttime cleanser refuses to foam. These would be amazing.

I swear I’ve almost bought these 20 times in the past 2 weeks. I know I will never get more than a weeks use out of one. But they look so cute, and so cheap. Cute, cheap gimmicky Asian things always suck me in.

  • knownever

very cute! I like that they included little stands, very considerate since these would probably roll all over and wreak havoc in your bathroom.
