Harajuku Lovers Sunshine Cuties Music Review

I’m still working my way through the Harajuku Lovers Sunshine Cuties fragrances and today I’m the last leg on my journey with Music!

Check her!

Harajuku Lovers Sunshine Cuties Music is dressed up in a sweet little bikini and although she isn’t the cutest girl, that title falls to Love, she still manages to steal my heart as I simply love her itty bitty swimsuit, so cutes!

Although Music’s original blend comes across as more of a sparkling, fruity blend her new Summer version comes across as a fresher floral with hints of fruit. She includes notes of pear, apple, freesia, orchid, jasmine petals, honeysuckle, and creamy musk. From first spray to dry down you’ll get for the most part a rather fresh floral that’s not cloying or overpowering but simply clean. I can’t pick out any one note from the blend but I definitely get hints of both the freesia, orchid, and jasmine with the powdery musk thrown into the mix. Scent wise she’s my least favorite but she wins a special spot in my heart for her sweet swim wear.

After all my testing I must settle on Music being my favorite so if you’re thinking of hauling any I’d definitely sniff this little girl first as she’s my favorite.

Overall, the Harajuku Lovers Sunshine Cuties Fragrances have a little something for everyone. I’m a tad disappointed they are only available for a limited time so I guess I better getting hauling on Music as it’s definitely a scent I don’t want to be without.

Anyone haul any of the Sunshine Cuties?

Planning too?

Any favs?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I am definitely going to be picking up Music as she was my favorite of the original Harajuku Lovers! I wasn’t a Love fan because she smelled a bit to much like baby powder to me.

Your link to Angel as your favorite says Music. That was a confusing sentence to write so I hope you understand what I mean. Oh, and Love is definitely the cutest!

      • Miss Molly

I thought the one in this post was Music? And Angel was your fave scent and Love was your fave packaging. I am confusing myself. 🙁

Haha. This was a ilttle confusing! For Music, you stated, “Scent wise she’s my least favorite but she wins a special spot in my heart for her sweet swim wear.” Then a sentence later, you put, “After all my testing I must settle on Music being my favorite so if you’re thinking of hauling any I’d definitely sniff this little girl first as she’s my favorite.” SO is Music your fave or not??

    • the Muse

sorry krissy I imagine I meant that LOVE was my favorite…the names tend to get confusing LOL! I believe it’s Love that smells like lemon cake and that’s my fav. Sorry.

I HAD to have these for my birthday, so i made my boyfriend scent test with me. I wanted to love Love; but for some reason I just didnt like the fruitiness. I ended up with Baby; and i started hauling on her. We got a 3.4 oz tester bottle for 20 dollars on ebay. And through a mistake I also ended up with a large Lil Angel; and while I am not too fond of the set, i am not complaining. I must say though; your reviews helped in my choice 🙂

Baby is a nice one cathryn 😀 Aw that’s rather flattering to hear, glad you enjoyed the reviews. Lil Angel Summer Edition is VERY nice. Smells like Lemon Cake 😀
