Korres Rose Wood Blackcurrant Cyclamen Fragrance for Women Review: Korres Eau de Toilette Review

Good morning dears!

How was your weekend? Mine was stupid rushed, felt like I didn’t even have time off. Phew! I did get my fix of Doctor Who on Saturday night, lord knows I cleared my whole schedule to make room for a little geek out on that. The rest of the weekend went by in a blaze and man was it brisk here. I guess Summer is further away than I was imaging!

How about you? Have a good one?

I did get a chance to play around with some of the new Korres Fragrances this weekend. Just what I’ve always wanted a fragrance by Korres.

Jump!

You have to love a company who doesn’t actually name their fragrance but simply states the notes in the blend. Korres Fragrance for Women isn’t actually named unless you account for the brand name, Korres, but aside from that they simply list the notes. Kinda chic isn’t it? They are so confident you’re going to love it, they don’t actually need to name it. So when you’re friends ask, “What are you wearing?” you can simply say “Korres”. “Korres what? Oh just Korres.”

What is it?

An Eau de Toilette from Korres that features notes of Rose Wood, Blackcurrant, and Cyclamen that was created for women.

The Good….

OMG! It’s gorgeous. I starts off life as a soft rose scent but gets quickly overtaken by the blackcurrant which turns it every so slightly sweet. If you aren’t a lover of rose don’t worry as the Rose and Rosewood notes bring out a more sweeter, fresher scent. It smells every so slightly sweet but also fresh and very clean. It has a slew of different notes such as pink grapefruit, rosewood, rose, mint leaves, freesia, cyclamen, and lily but still manages to come across with a dominate rose note and a underlay of blackcurrant with faint hints of freesia. It’s very unique and different.

The Bad…..

Throw and linger are great but after three hours it begins to wear away on me so I need a touch up around mid day.

Final Thoughts….

I love rose scents and this takes rose to another level. The rose comes across sweet, slightly fruity and gorgeous. They’ve taken rose to some new level and morphed it into something delicious! The scent is ideal for the warmer weather and simply gorgeous overall.

Total Muse Approval for purchase.

Loves it!

Gorgeous blend!

Available now from Korres.

You really need.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I wonder if this will be at Sephora? I want to sniff this and the Pepper one!

Haha, I can’t even order it. I’m in California! They say they can’t ship here (yet).

I think there’s some weird thing about shipping perfume in air mail. But Sephora does it- I’ve ordered perfume from them in the past…
