In the meantime, I thought I’d tell you about the new Lumene exCELLent Future Deep Repairing Serum (it’ll be included in the giveaway).

Jump!

What is it?

Lumene exCELLent Future Deep Repairing Serum is powerful facial serum to treat, prevent, and delay damaged caused by aging and environmental factors. The serum is supposed to make skin feel and look younger and also protect skin’s stem cells which play a key role in preserving a youthful appearance. Lumene uses Applexcell to help prevent and postpone damage from surfacing and reduce the appearance of already existing wrinkles. With a formula made up of over 90% natural ingredients this serum is sure to please green friendly skincare users.

The Good….

The serum is designed for women who are 30+ so I fit right into the demographic profile. I generally like the idea of having a serum that prevents aging plus one that’s affordable at $29.99. I don’t have fine lines on my face but since the serum also acts as a prevention system as well it appeals majorly to me. I use the serum in the evening prior to following up with my evening moisturizer. Its very light and absorbs easily. You can use it not only on face but also neck and around the contour of your eye. I honestly can’t speak for results as of yet but my skin does look a little less dull which is always great because this is a primary concern for me.

The Bad….

Honestly, there isn’t alot of bad to say about the product as its affordable plus as I mentioned this is a preventive measure so I couldn’t really say how well it was working unless a few years have passed and I could update you on how my skin was aging or not 🙂

Who Might Like It?

  • Women the just turned 30 or are 30+ that want an affordable anti-aging solution.
  • Anyone seeking to protect skin against aging as well as environmental factors that damage skin.

Who Might Not Like It?

  • Anyone younger than 30.

Final thoughts…..

Overall, Lumene exCELLent Future Deep Repairing Serum is an affordable way to beef up your current skincare regime. Adding an anti-aging step or two into your skincare is always a great way to strengthen the support system of your skin. How you take care of your skin now will be the test of how time will treat you in the future. Lumene offers quite a few affordable ways to keep your skin looking its best when you’re wanting to keep things within a nice budget as you can spend 100’s of dollars on similar products at your local high end counter.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Aww I want this!! But I’m 15, and don’t wanna use something for 30 year olds…not that your old!! 😀
what product would you recomend for me that is for “future prevention”?

Btw, a couple posts back, you mentioned you have a dry spot above your eye that won’t go away after moistureizing, well I’ve just gotten that too! It’s so yuky looking! And I’ve exfoliated and been moisturizing, UG!

    • the Muse

hey hailee. mmm def not for you dear. You really don’t need future prevention just yet 😀 Just be sure to remove your makeup at the end of the night, moisturize daily, get a very good solid skincare regime for both morning and night and don’t forget SPF very very important.

LOL you too right? Do you have some skin oil of some sort? I used a drop of the mac essential oils and it went away after three days of intense hydration lol!

  • electronicfly

Lol their names are so “subtle”. And how can you be 30+?!?! You look like you’re in your mid 20s!

    • the Muse

oh I love you electronicfly LOL 😀 obviously the lumene is working LMAO!

I’m curious about this. At a couple years under 30, I’m starting to think about using some kind of anti-aging product for prevention. I already have two little creases under my eyes and I’m afraid of what else might pop up in the next few years as I used to party harder than I’d recommend anyone else doing, heh.
I cannot believe you are over 30! You look much younger but I figured you must be at least my age because of some of the things you reference, like you seem to have been old enough in the 80’s to appreciate the music and everything 😉

  • Jennifer

Yeah I am surprised to hear you’re above 30; I would have pegged you to early 20s!

  • DM

Might give it a try-I am in my mid 30’s now and need to get on the old lady preventive train! A word to the dry spot on your face–give argan oil a try. Works well and has not broken me out. I know Josie Maran has some but it is also in Whole Foods much cheaper. Never thought I’d be saying that:) Love your musings and the variety of products you review.

I LOVE Lumene! Amazing products. For anyone younger than 30 go for the Radiance Line (orange packaging) with Vitamin C. It definitely brightens the skin!
