Pixi Lumi Luxe Bronzer Palette Review and Swatches

So who checked out their Pixi display at Target lately? OMG dude go! They have these really cute “pixie” themed eyeshadows now plus the new Pixi Lumi Luxe Bronzer is absolutely stunning. If you’re anything like me and absolutely a lover of super fly packaging you’ll totally adore this!

Jump!

What is it?

Its a darling little highlight slash blush slash bronzer made up of multitude of warm rosy shades to use on face and cheeks for a burst of color!

The Good…..

This is a beautiful palette so if you’re partial to pretty packaging and gorgeous powders in general you’ll definitely want to add to your collection. It comes in a simple light green box with a pull ribbon on the side. Simply pull on the ribbon and the powder drawer slides out to reveal a beautiful palette with the Pixi emblem and three sweet little pixies imprinted on the surface of the powder. Yes, yes, I know what you’re thinkin’ already! “But Muse does the pixie design wear away after you use it?” No! The pixie imprint runs rather deep so even after a few sweeps of your brush the lovely little design will stay firmly in place. The design isn’t an overspray and runs through the powder so it should stick around for a good long while. The bronzer is made up of several shades of warmer rose pink with a middle layer of coppery rose bronze. Sweeping your brush across all four colors will basically get a golden, shimmering shade of very warm rose that can be used on cheeks, face, or even lids if you dare (in my photo below I used the powder on both my lids and my cheeks). The powder is extra pigmented so it works to highlight your face but also can easily be used as a warm shade of rosy blush.

The Bad….

Do be very careful when using as its extremely pigmented so you can easily over do it.

Who Might Like It?

  • Anyone who gets super excited about pretty powders!
  • Anyone who desires a warm rosy glow this Summer!
  • Anyone who wants a multitasking palette that can be used as a blush, eyeshadow, a highlighter, and a bronzer!

Who Might Not Like It?

  • Anyone with very fair skin as this might look a tad muddy on milky white skin!

Final Thoughts…..

The powder was a joy for me as I’m a mush for beautiful packaging and design. The simplicity of the outer packaging really throws a curve ball for what’s inside because as you pull that ribbon the unexpected surprise of such a beautifully designed powder really doesn’t match up to the simple outer packaging! Its $25 which I think isn’t too bad at all due to its larger size, pigmentation, and overall beautiful presentation. I loved it and thought it was a very pretty edition to my already large stash of gorgeous powders.

Very worth of a haul and Muse Approved for purchase.

Available at your local Target and online at www.target.com

Anyone see the new Pixi offerings?

Thinkin’ of hauling any?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
