Rimmel London Spring 2010: Rimmel London Royal Gloss Review and Swatches
Bravo Rimmel on creating a super cool gloss!
Imma a likey the new Rimmel London Royal Gloss……
Jump!
What is it?
A deliciously shiny little gloss that will set you back less than $5 bucks! Brilliant!
The Good…
Available in 10 shades and flavors, Rimmel London Royal Gloss should appeal to those who love a little flavor and scent in their lip products. I got one in Peach Crush and it’s simply delicious. But the flavor isn’t the best part about it….the gloss is super shiny, incredibly wet looking, and light wearing minus a sticky, tacky feel! Absolutely loves it!
The Bad…..
Incredibly short wear time not only because I’m licking my lips every two seconds to grab a taste of juicy peach but also because the gloss has one of those slippery formulas that fails to lasts on lips all day! Le Sigh! It would be near perfect if it wore longer! Subtle and sheer so don’t expect pigmented color from this, not necessarily a bad thing in my opinion but if you’re wanting color with this you may want to skip as it applies sheer.
Who might like it?
- Anyone who likes a variety of color and flavor!
- Anyone who enjoys a tasty little lipgloss!
- Anyone who likes to stick a gloss in their makeup bag, purse, pocket, or desk drawer for constant re-touch ups through out the day!
- Anyone who’s a gloss addict!
Who might not like?
- Anyone who hates flavored glosses!
- Anyone who can’t stand a short wear formula.
Final thoughts….
Well worth a haul in my humblest and twice the product that Maybelline Shine Sensational Lip Gloss is. Way tastier, way shinier! Think Too Faced Mirror Mirror Gloss and you’ll pretty much have a rather ideal dupe up in Rimmel London Royal Gloss. Quite a nifty little gloss, I’m just wishing it wore a little longer as it melts away within an hour at the most…sad sigh! But still an ideal treat for my desk drawer as I’m a chronic apply, reapply type of gloss girl.
Likey Lots.
Worthy of a haul!
