Shills Rose Essential 5 in 1 Deep Cleanser Review

I can be lazy but never when it comes down to removing my makeup in the evening. It’s an epic regime that includes cleansing, toning, masking, moisturizing, and everything else under the evening sky.

If I do decide to skip my insane removal regime I normally head for some sort of makeup wipes or I grab my Shills Rose Essential 5 in 1 Deep Cleanser and call it a night!

I finally feel like I can explore Shills with you all now that Sasa is carrying the line. I’ve been a Shills fan for a very long time and have been completely in love with it but couldn’t really review most my own collection since I didn’t have too many places I could recommend you safely purchase it.

Sasa now carries alot of the line and at almost retail prices!!!!!!!!!! Yay!

Anyway…back to that Shills Rose Essential 5 in 1 Deep Cleanser.

What is it?

Its a cleansing, clarifying, hydrating, brightening and balancing toner all in one bottle. It basically looks like a toner but acts as a cleanser to remove makeup while hydrating skin and toning it. Plus it’s scented like roses, perfect!

The good…

It’s ideal for all skin types so anyone can benefit from use. It’s easy to use, mess-free, and makes for a great travel companion when you can’t afford to haul a TON of makeup removing products with you. To use it you simply moisten a cotton pad and proceed to swipe down your face. Continue doing so until all your makeup is removed. It feels quite hydrating on but not greasy or oily. It removes makeup quite well for quick “I’m too tired to remove my makeup” moments.

The bad….

It doesn’t remove waterproof mascara so well and leaves behind alot of extra makeup that your normal cleanser would get off in a snap. I find it’s great for removing foundation, blush, and more lighter makeup but heavy duty makeup it won’t work so well on. But of course the point is a quickie makeup removal which it indeed does so don’t expect a truly deep clean with this as it simply doesn’t do that.

Who might like it?

  • Anyone who has a seriously crazy night time routine for makeup removal and occasionally likes to be lazy about getting makeup off in a flash.
  • Anyone who wears lighter makeup and likes the idea of a quick wipe off and go.
  • Anyone who doesn’t wear waterproof mascara.
  • Anyone who’s feeling a little bit lazy.

Who might not like it?

  • Anyone who hates the smell of roses or scented skin care in general.
  • Anyone who wears hardcore eye makeup such as deeply pigmented shadow and waterproof mascara.

Final Thoughts….

For me its the ideal solution for days I want to be a little lazy about removing my makeup or even on the weekend when as of late I embrace very light makeup that doesn’t need an entire arsenal of product to remove. I love the scent, I love the bottle, and I love the general idea of the product however it can never replace all the products I normally reach for in the evening to remove harder makeup.

Loves it!

Def worth a haul for quickie removal on the fly, great price too on Sasa for a mere $10 bucks and change.

Get it at Sasa.

This cleanser is suitable even for sensitive and oily skin type. It can be apply to areas as delicate as your eyes and lips. When you massage your cleanser to your skin, your skin will give a natural glow and condition of skin will become supple and brightened.

Hm, this sounds like it would be really nice in the morning– when I need a little lift but not serious cleansing.

Sounds like a great solution for lazy days! I have combination skin and I’m thinking of purchasing it…do you think it’s moisturising enough on quick mornings to skip moisturiser and just apply makeup? Please let me kno what you think!

    Thanks for sharing 🙂
