The Philosophy The Color of Grace Amazing Grace Coloring Book Review and Swatches

Let me you, I fell in LUST with Philosophy Supernatural Coloring Book released this Fall. Its simplicity made my makeup world go round. Sometimes, when youre presented with SO much product daily, simplicity rules the race.

This is why I was ever so eager to try out the Philosophy The Color of Grace Amazing Grace Coloring Book.

Jump!

What is it?

The Philosophy Color of Grace Amazing Grace Coloring Book is a palette for lips, cheeks, and eyes. Its a tiny little palette that contains blush, highlighter, shimmering face powder, two eye shadows, and two lip glosses. Pretty much everything you need for a quickie face look or two!

Airlines are becoming more and pickier about what you can and cant bring on board. I love how tiny this is, its super easy to tote around with you or travel with plus it has enough makeup to create a very fresh, natural look.

Now….

Dont expect a ton of pigmentation with this as the look it creates is very, very subtle and fresh. If you prefer a less is more makeup routine this should fit right in with your likes. The shades are all very innocent shades of pink and I find its coloring is most suitable for fair to medium fair skin types however darker skin might want to skip as the shades just might not show up.

It includes an Amazing Grace Shimmering Face Powder which is a shimmering pink facial powder (or body if you want) thats scented like the popular Philosophy fragrance. Philosophy has a large compact of this powder but its awful nice to get it along with several other items in a palette I think. Youll also get Pure Joy Blush which is a baby pink shade, two eye shadows Dream (brown nude) and Angel (beige nude), two lip glosses, In Love (rose pink) and Be Sweet (pure pink), and 7th Heaven Illuminator which is a pale pink cream highlighter.

Overall, if youre seeking a more natural look for Spring or you embrace the no makeup look daily, the Philosophy Color of Grace Amazing Grace Coloring Book should appeal greatly! I liked it but I must say that my favorite remains the Philosophy Supernatural Coloring Book, I thought it looked better on my coloring than the Amazing Grace one.

Anyone try this yet?

Loving on it?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. wow looks beautiful! have you tried the art of blushing pink dreams compact? i’m wondering how it compares to Laura Geller’s Ethereal Rose Baked Powder ….

I’m not a fan of the Grace scent, but I love scented powders. That’s sort of a nice little tidbit to include in a travel-friendly palette like this because it’s always those fun luxurious touches that you have to leave at home to save space.

I bought this a good while ago (and I don’t buy expensive make-up like this often–if ever). I’ve heard some complaints about the size but I don’t share them.

The colors are perfect for me (especially now as I’m wearing pink all over the face) and subtle enough I don’t worry about putting too much on. I’ve got poor bathroom lighting. The second I get to work with darker pinks, I look like a hooker without a mirror–even though I look well coifed in my home mirror. Philosophy takes my need to check my morning make-up in every room of the apartment.

I have’t really noticed the scent of my favorite Philosophy fragrance yet but I have noticed that the lip glosses tend to last longer than other similar book of colors.

hey tania 😀 happy to hear you’re liking it 😀 I don’t share those views either, the size is actually what I like about it as it’s easy to travel with without breaking anything 😀

I didn’t love the pink as much as I loved the natural shades in the supernatural palette, have you tried that? You’ll love it if you loved this 😀

the shimmer powder is subtly scented with grace 😀

I’m so glad I didn’t splurge on this. I’m not a lot darker than you but definitely a few shades and I need my pigment. I did buy the compact powder and its fairly shimmery and smells nice too. My go to travel compacts are by Chanel. They usually have one or two out that have neutral ish shades that work for me.

Muse! In your infinite beauty wisdom, could you recommend a dupe for the Pure Joy blush? I’ve hit pan. Love your site! 🙂
