YOU NEED THIS: Hard Candy Moon Glow Review and Swatches
Hard Candy continues to impress with it’s Spring/Summer 2010 selections.
Jump ahead to hear the word on the new Hard Candy Moon Glow Powder.
What is it?
A shimmering translucent powder infused with illuminating gold powder.
The Good…
I gotta say Hard Candy has evolved slightly with this release. Now when the brand originally launched some of the line was a tad immature and leaning more towards teens. Personally Moon Glow really turns a new leaf for the brand as this is quality makeup that should appeal to all ages.
The packaging is incredible. Pretty much packaging you’d see at your local Sephora in my opinion. It’s a hard case shell with a dual compartment that features the powder on top, a full size gorgeous mirror on the bottom, and a little place to stash the super cute heart shaped sponge this comes with. Very nice packaging in my opinion and worthy of toting around and whipping out with pride.
Basically, Hard Candy Moon Glow is a more subtle dupe of the Balm Mary-Lou Manizer and Too Faced Absolutely Invisible Candlelight. The formula is a transparent powder infused with a fine creamy gold shimmer. You can use it to set your makeup while giving your face and skin a soft focused golden highlight. The golden shimmer is very subtle so you aren’t left looking like a disco ball.
The Bad…
Can’t think of a single thing bad to say about it. It’s perfect and damn affordable too at $8 bucks.
Who Might Like It?
- Anyone that’s wanted to indulge in Too Faced Invisible Candlelight or the Balm Mary-Lou Manizer but was intimidated by the price.
- Anyone who wants a setting powder with a faint golden shimmer.
- Anyone who loves super kawaii packaging!
Who Might Not Like It?
- No one!
Final Thoughts….
Must say I’m very impressed. The packaging really floored me as it’s truly well made plus the affordable price tag and throw in a beautiful shimmer powder and it doesn’t take long to hook, line, and sink yourself a happy Muse.
Loves it.
Another fabulous release from Hard Candy Spring/Summer 2010.
