Latest Obsession: Dior Addict Crystal Gloss Review and Swatches
Total obsessing over Dior Addict Crystal Gloss at the moment.
OMG Loves it!

What is it?
Dior’s first ever gel gloss! Dior Addict Crystal Gloss sports a new innovative jelly-like texture that leaves lips blushed pink.
The Good….
So I’m loving this at the moment, rightfully obsessed with it.
It’s a jelly-like gloss that basically has the same consistency as a gel or a jelly in this case which gives a high sheen finish plus has the added benefits of staining lips a blushing shade of pink. So pretty.
The gloss applies fairly easily with the enclosed short haired lip brush and can be built up for an intensely glossy look. Although the gloss has a unique formula that’s not entirely what made it special for me as I thought the blushing pink stain effect was the best part. The gloss is fuchsia in the tube but applies as a subtle, natural pink on lips (your lip shade but better) so it’s basically your ideal shade of natural pink for your lips.
Why am I obsessing over it?
I like it for a natural, shiny less than a made up look for Summer. I like alot less makeup in the Summer and this is ideal for creating a fresh, subtle look in the warm weather but doesn’t forsake a great look to achieve it.
Basically, Crystal Gloss reminds me of a glossy form of Dior Addict Lip Glow. So if Lip Glow simply wasn’t your thing or you’re not a balm lover, Crystal Gloss takes care of that in a gloss format. Plus I know Lip Glow applied a bit too fuchsia or pink on some and this leans towards being way more natural looking.
The Bad….
Hated the short haired brush this comes with but can appreciate it simply because it doesn’t split (splitting lip brush, total pet peeve of mine).
Who might like it?
- Dior Lip Glow fans.
- Gloss Fluo De Chanel Brilliant Lip Shine lovers.
- Anyone looking for a subtle, natural gloss for Summer.
- Anyone looking to do away with heavier lipsticks and glosses as the warm weather approaches.
Who might not like it?
- Anyone unwilling to dish out over $20 for a lipgloss (It’ll set you back $26.50!)
- Anyone who wants a dramatic lip look.
Final Thoughts….
Overall, I absolutely loved it and felt like it was a unique lip gloss experience. I don’t think a single gloss I have has such an interesting texture and formula. This will be a happy part of my Summer makeup regime!
Likey lots!
Anyone try?
