Physicians Formula Organic Wear 2-in-1 Bronzer & Blush Review and Swatches

Hey chickies!

One my favorite ways to wear bronzer is combining with blush. I always find the effects of cocktailing blush and bronzer makes the bronzer experience all the more easier and wearable.

Physicians Formula Organic Wear 2-in-1 Bronzer & Blush combines one part bronzer with one part blush for an easy bronzing experience in one palette.

What Is It?

Physicians Formula Organic Wear 2-in-1 Bronzer & Blush is a bronzer and a blusher that can be used together or individually to create a sunkissed, natural look.

The Good….

Packaging on this is simply fabulous. It sports a very similar packaging design to the Soap and Glory Bronzer which features a dual sided design that has a full size mirror and compartment for the brush on one side and the blush/bronzer on the other. I really like the packaging, it’s super cute. The brush it comes with a flat top brush which is surprisingly good quality as in the past I always run into an issue with some of the brushes packaged with Physicians Formula products.

The design of the palette is pretty sweet as well as the powder is split down the middle with a leaf design.

The Bad…

The powder itself has an unusual texture which is where the problem of pigmentation comes into place. I can’t really describe the feel of the actual powder but swiping lightly or swiping extra hard with a brush or kabuki yields little product onto your brush. Sadly, it completely lacks pigmentation and has a very subtle finish.

Who Might Like It?

  • Anyone looking for a very subtle bronzer/blusher combo.

Who Might Not Like It?

  • Anyone seeking a bronzer or blusher with intense color pay off.

Final Thoughts….

The packaging is fabulous on this as is the price ($11.95-$13.95) and the general idea of an organic wear cosmetic should appeal to green friendly makeup users however the lack of pigmentation for me is unforgivable. Granted, I really do not want intense color from a bronzer anyway and I’m more than happy with something that applies subtly but this barely gives any color at all. I do think anyone with extra fair skin may see the advantage of using this however those with darker skin may not see results at all. The duo does come in a variety of color selections from lighter to darker but I’m doubtful you’ll see a difference in either shade you select.

I wanted to love it but no go sadly.

YEah the colors are quite light, but I like the reflective quality of them. They’re almost both like a highlight.

I wouldn’t recommend using a fluffy brush with these.
