Something Fruity For Your Face: Cosline Strawberry Yogurt Pack Review

Korea is legendary for stuffing fruit into a cute bottle and dubbing it a “pack” aka facial mask. They are also super keen on one particular fruit type mixed up with yogurt, that would be strawberries.

Strawberries are packed full of antioxidants which is good for your body as well as your skin.

Check out my Cosline Strawberry Yogurt Pack review to see if these strawberries are good for my face!

What is it?

Cosline Strawberry Yogurt Pack OSLINE Yogurt Strawberry is a creamy wash off face that contains strawberry extract, yogurt, and vitamins C and E. It promises to smooth your skin and instantly brighten. Simply apply and massage on your whole face and proceed to sit around for a while (15-20 minutes), I watch Nurse Jackie while I have this on, and wash off with water after your time is up! Simple!

The Good…

I got a slew of Cosline masks recently in a swap…a grape one, strawberry, tomato, etc…they only set me back the cost of some British chocolate and crisps so not a bad swap eh?

Like most Korean face packs you won’t see a MAJOR change in your skin, hey, it’s all about the gimmick. However, it’s ones of those treatments that I continue to use anyway because it’s relaxing and it also softens my skin. Seriously, I can’t complain too much if I’m seeing a nice hydrating effect after use right?

The mask is a creamy blend which resembles strawberry yogurt (right down to the strawberry seeds) however the entire claim of it being yogurt and fruit should be taken with a grain of salt as this doesn’t need refrigeration (although it feels nice when applied cool) and it’ll sit around on your skincare shelf for near 3 years…so yea..obviously not yogurt here.

As you may have suspected it does indeed smell like bright, juicy strawberries as well, quite pleasant really.

The Bad…

Aside from moisturizing your face it doesn’t do much else. I was actually ever so hopeful the antioxidants would help with my dull, lackluster skin but this is one product that sadly did nothing in that regard. Don’t expect alot and you won’t be disappointed is the moral of this story.

Who might like it?

  • Kawaii skincare lovers.
  • Anyone seeking a relaxing, moisturizing mask treatment.
  • Anyone who likes mask packs in general but doesn’t expect major results.

Who might not like it?

  • Anyone going in hoping the antioxidants will give a boost to their dull skin.
  • Anyone not keen on highly fragranced skincare.

Final Thoughts….

I generally like it. Yes, it doesn’t do much in the ways of brightening my skin but it does hydrate and honestly I wasn’t expecting major results going in as I’ve come to expect that from many inexpensive Korean face packs anyway so I wasn’t terribly disappointed I didn’t see dramatic results. I like the smell, the texture, and just the relaxing feel of a chilled strawberry yogurt mask on my face that smells lovely and makes my skin dewy…what more could I ask for?

You can swap for some like me by locating a kindly Korean chicklet on an Asian Forum or check out Sasa as they did have the mask in stock last I looked for $5 bucks or so (it’s about $3 in Korea so not much of a difference in price).

Nice stuff. I’d buy it again.

Mmmm…I can totally see myself accidentally eating that.

(Or the husband might accidentally eating it because it looks like flavored yoghurt.)

I have to agree with you on this.

I am currently using the Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Peeling Gel and its Strawberry Yogurt Pack. On my 1st use during a Laneige workshop, I was so impressed with the instant brightening effect that I bought both thereafter. But now, after using both for a while, the post-usage brightening effect seems to be less, while the they still leave my skin feeling hydrated and smooth.

The Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Pack looks almost identical to your COSLINE’s! 😉

    • the Muse

hey vonvon Laneige is nice but it’s considerably more $$ than the cosline which is pretty much the same thing. Strawberry Yogurt all the rage in Korea haha! first time I used Laneige I swore my face looked brighter but honestly must be my mind playing tricks on me 😀 haha! def hydrating but nothing more sadly!

      • Vonvon

Exactly how I feel about Laneige pack right now. Only for hydrating and a bit of pampering due to its yummylicious scent!

  • Marcy

Is this anything like the Laneige strawberry yoghurt pack? I used that once and can’t see much difference :S Did smell good though. And it would have been much more expensive… had I bought a full sized jar.

Where do you do your swaps Muse? (i.e which forum?) Swapping chocolate for makeup… I like that lol

    • the Muse

kinda yes marcy just cheaper though I like the Laneige one but I agree doesn’t do MUCH 😛 it is considerably more expensive than the 3 buck cosline which virtually looks/smells the same! mua, soompi, cozycot (haven’t been in a while though)

it was good British chocolate if that counts LOL prob worth more than the mask 😀

  • Mia

I had the tomatoe one from this line. I LOVED the way it smelled and it did a good job at moisturizing! I dont know the ingredients so I wouldnt repurchase, but it might have aloe in it.

  • Chelle

I want to try the tomato one because I heard it’s good for acne. How is it?

    • the Muse

haven’t tried yet chelle but def will update ya 😀 also got the grape one which I’m really excited about 😀

  • Monica

Did u get the honey one? the honey one has been featured in a lot of japanese magazine, I always wanted to try that one, but it’s always out of stock!!!

  • Lillian

Oooh this does sound nice. I have an avon mask that is also strawberry yoghurt and i think it probably is a lot like this. It makes my skin feel soft and smooth but doesn’t really change it’s appearance.

    • the Muse

oh avon one? we don’t have that hear lillian sounds nice 😀

  • regina

i wonder if it is better to actually splatter some organic yogurt mixed with fresh strawberries then?

  • Joey

The mask has a shelf life of 3 years?
I thought they only last one year. Haha. Now I’m reconsidering to buy the Tomato, Strawberry and Honey pack 😀

  • Celene

Are brands like cosline, laneige, canmake, shiseido, shu uemura etc. cheaper if i buy the products in taiwan?
