Beauty News: Soap & Glory No Longer Available At Target Come September
Stop the press.
I nearly sobbed myself silly when I read this beauty news.
Jump!
Soap & Glory has announced the following on their website:
WE PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE SOAP & GLORY FANS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
But why, you may ask, are we mentioning this now?
Of late, several Yankee Soap & Glory girls have enquired as to why they can no longer find all the same Soap & Glory products that used to be stocked in your local Target shops.
Truth be told, after three fantastic years-during which Target gave us some very nice, wide shelves, and we delivered them boxes of cool, bubbling Britannia-weve decided to branch out and sharpen our focus – to shops that focus on beauty.
NOW THE LAST THING WE WANT TO START IS SOME MASS PANIC, PEOPLE!
Soap & Glory is not going away. Youll still be able to buy it. We are not up and whipping our SUGAR CRUSH off the shelf, never to return Stateside.
(In fact, Ladies, its all of you who have caused this upheaval – buying THE RIGHTEOUS BUTTER and SEXY MOTHER PUCKER LIP PLUMPERS with such reckless abandon that forced us to rethink our entire US strategy.) So…
Soap & Glory will be available in Target until the end of September (2010), or until they run out of whatever Soap & Glory theyve currently got in stock. (May we gently remind you all that PANICKING IS NOT GOING TO HELP ANYONE IN THIS SITUATION.) Go out. Stock up. Get what you need. Sign up for our newsletter, and well announce our new retailer partners as soon as weve got the deals ‘inked.
Now I like to get all the newest Soap & Glory bits as quickly as they come out so I normally haul it hard from the UK when I can. However, this can run into pricey airmail fees so my staple products are picked up at Target when available but now they are saying I can’t hit up Target for my fix?
Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!?
I’m curious who they might be partnering up with.
What do you think?
CVS?
Walmart?
Amazon.com?
Where will your favorite Soap & Glory products new home be?
I’ll update as soon as I hear the good word!
