When I see this post, I really which would have prices here that are anything close to yours..

  • Robyn

is the dream smooth mousse foundation the same as the dream creamy foundation jusy a different name ?

  • puranki

Switzerland. I guess the only thing here that’s not expensive is the air we breathe.. 🙁

  • ndoodles

WOW that’s so awesome! I can’t wait to try out the Maybelline cream shadow and their lipstains. Thanks for the post.

  • Natalie

I’m loving the lip stains! I’m glad there are more drugstore versions. Thanks for the post!

  • Wendy

I’m kind of wanting to try that Dream Smooth foundation… I’m getting married in August and know I need something other than my Cover Girl TM or my Mac Studio Fix powder, and am just dreading spending the money. I’m leaning towards MUFE’s HD, as I can test that on me in the store at least… but $40, yikes. Makes my wallet cry.

hey wendy congrats hun 😀 aw totally can understand 🙁 is it cheaper to maybe have your makeup done at MAC?

  • Ally

I’m very curious about the Covergirl primer stuff! Looks interesting. Can’t wait to see a review!

@ Wendy– For my wedding I actually had my makeup done at Kohl’s. The lady was great! Went in for a trial run awhile before and then back that morning to get it done. Looked great all day! Before that I had gone to one of the counters at Dillard’s (I think?) and she made me SCARY! Good luck!

I love the Dream Mousse Concealer. I just tried the blush in the series, though, and I find it so oily! Not sure if I should give this a try.

I have to say though that I like seeing SPF in drugstore cosmetics (and high-end cosmetics). I remember when I first came back here for college from Asia. I went to a Chanel counter to ask for powder with SPF in it. The SA and I had a little argument where I told her Chanel (at least in Asia!) definitely sells it. She was so condescending & kept telling me that I must mean foundation with SPF in it.

No chanel cosmetics for me anymore 🙂
Glad to see Maybelline powders with SPF in it.

Looking forward to the LipStain pens! I want to try them out but I was not going to pay Mac’s prices when they had the art supply collection. This at least if i hate how it works I can throw it out and not cry at the money wasted!
