Reader Review: Lush Sultana Review Nastiest Smelling Soap EVAR

1 stars out of 5

When I first got a chunk of this soap, I was very upset. The smell of Sultana is SO overwhelming, that it actually transferred its scent to my first Porridge, I Should Coco and HIWTC, so I couldn’t even tell what they all smelled like. After airing them all out, I found that Sultana was the reason for the nose-confusion. I hate the smell, but since I bought it, I wanted to try it out. The smell is less BAM!POW! when you rinse it off your skin. I like it much better on my skin than sniffing the soap itself. I think that some hairs in my nose actually burnt to a crisp when sniffing Sultana, but that might just be my imagination. Nevertheless, I don’t plan on buying it again, but I am ok with using it until it disappears. My skin is soft, and that is the only plus.

My suggestion, if you like really gross smells, go buy this. In fact, buy the entire lot, no matter what country it’s in…that way, when I go to the LUSH store, I won’t be met by this unpleasant smell.

    “Nastiest smelling stuff EVAR”???
WOW!! I absolutely LOVE sultana!! I guess everyone is different, but when I was a LUSH newbie, I fell in love *even thought the scent IS strong*. It’s unique, exfoliating and you don’t even need to wear a perfume afterward.

Aw, I LOVE everything about Sultana — the smell, the texture, the way those currents end up on your shower floor. I have a nice big bar in my shower now that I think I’ll use today.

I absolutely love Sultana! Fact is…I am a huge soap lover and if anyone else loves this soap and can find one better…please let me know because I have to tell you…I wish I could buy 10000 bars of this soap just so I know I can have it for the rest of my lifetime! My biggest fear is they will discontinue it…then what? It’s funny reading how one did not like this soap…as I cannot imagine. The currents are wonderful on my skin …like a shower massage at a spa! The effects after is my skin is so smooth and smells so wonderful! Again…don’t know what I would do without it!

Disagree 100%! I don’t know what I did before I found this soap! I’m a big lush fan only because of this soap. I tried if and feel in LOVE and started ordering more and more products from them…yet to come across another I couldn’t live without! The scent is amazing. Anyone who is ever in my house ends up ordering it just from smelling it in my bathroom.

I agree 100% I absolutly HATE the smell of sultana. It is creamy and nice on the skin so I really wanted to like this soap, but the smell keeps me wan’t to barf….uggh. I also hate the smell og “Honey I washed the kids” and the Miranda soap. Uuh, so gross! 🙁
